    Who’s mad? I find it ironic that you’re still disappointed in Obama for failing to hold shrub and Darth accountable and yet seem to want to give Team Trump Treason a full on pass. And it’s not that we’re waiting for Team Mueller to topple the Team Trump Treason regime, it’s that we’re demanding accountability and by the looks of it, we’ll at least get it from the voters in 2020.

    Maybe Hillary didn’t do anything? Clinton was impeached but it didn’t rise to the level of removing from office by the senate. And steroids in baseball has always been the most pressing matter before Congress. Hmmmm, priorities.

    Impeachment may be impossible, but the goal is to shine a light at what trump did as a private citizen to allegedly steal the presidency by using foreign intelligence assets as a weapon against his opponent.

    If he starts pardoning everyone and / or uses Whitaker as a biased weapon to shut everything down, and the State AGs have to indict everyone, this will create a very toxic climate for trump as the 2020 campaign starts to kick in full gear next year

    Especially if the House starts to uncover and publicize hard evidence of criminal behavior

    I'm very much like you.  The "THE FIELD" next to my name indicates that; I've never thought impeachment was likely.  I still don't.  I don't think whatever comes out of the investigation will matter.  The haters already hate, the lovers will love unconditionally, and the indifferent will remain indifferent.  Like you, I think the left under-estimates Trump's popularity.  I also think the left over-estimates the ability American People, the GOP, and the media to put the good of the country over the good of a party and of a madman who has captured nearly half the country for reasons they don't even recall. 

    I am negative.  I am cynical.  I believe it's realistic that we could be in year 2 of 30 (Don, Don Jr, Ivanka, Eric each with two terms).

    And, my god, you're bringing me down.  That's saying a lot.

    There are older posts by me expressing frustration at the left "waiting for the impeachment fairy."  Anecdotally, there are people who have been on the edge of their seats since inauguration day, expecting America to come to its senses and somehow get them out of there. I speak from experience, so trust me on this: you'll feel much better if you don't worry about them. They'll probably be disappointed by the outcome.  So be it.  For my part, I just try to enjoy life and not get too on-edge about the day-to-day because I know whatever happens remains a long way off.  Let the optimistic "he's going down" crowd be optimistic.  Doesn't impact you.  Once I stopped worrying about them, this whole thing became much more manageable.

    Because Dems aren’t supposed to take money to compete against repubs, who are far more supported by big money donors. Naive indeed. No criticism of the Roberts court, 73-0. No criticism of citizens united. No criticism of dark money or foreign money. Just Obama let me down and it’s all his fault?
