Should be a fine view - its really close to center. I've honestly never sat out there, but I am a snob about Tweeter seats.

Anyone have an idea on what kind of seats I will have, 176xxx? At the last 2 fleet/garden shows I was in the second section of the floor. Not bad, but not great seats. The view will be much better with amphitheater style seating, instead of floor. I also understand not as many 10c tix were sold, so hopefully I will be in good shape! Always a hope for randomness.

My seats were way, way better at the Garden 06 shows than at Mansfield 1, 03. I am 154xxx. At Mansfield 1 I was literally in the last 2 corner seats before the lawn seats. I had much better seats for night 2, and night 3 I lucked out with Row U in the center via TMaster the day before the show and sold my existing tickets which were decent. I am curious to see what this year's tickets look like. It sounds like 10C got less than usual, so we should be ok.
Bright eyed kid: "Wow Typo Man, you're the best!"
Typo Man: "Thanks kidz, but remembir, stay in skool!"
I usually get good seats too, I think my tickets for that show were messed up for some reason. Still had a blast...no complaints.
Yes, I know you usually get good seats, because you're always 5 rows in front of me. grr.
actually thinking back to that show, I wouldn't be surprised if your tickets were messed up. that was back in the days of waiting in line to get the best in the block. that show was utter CHAOS when they opened the box office.

MSG was refreshing that year when they announced pre-set tickets. Glad that trend continued.

I am too, however, there was something fun about waiting in that line...
well, except for the Mountain View, CA show I went to when my friend and I fried up by noon...after that I bought a straw hat for the rest of the tour.
My first show was the night after. The mighty Orpheum show. I was in the lower section of the orchestra section. It was just amazing. The next 2 shows I saw were Red Rocks in June 1995. Which was my first airplane ride to see a show. Then there was Montreal 1998 which was my first show outside the US. I only got to see night I of the 2003 Mansfield shows. I try like hell not to miss them when they come around. It just changes my whole attitude for days/weeks after.
Now if I could only get Radiohead tickets for the 8/13 my summer would be complete!
oh man, the orpheum show. I wanted to go to that so bad but I couldn't believe I was actually at the garden show! I was only 16, it was not only my first PJ show but also my first "real" rock show. I had awesome seats too (I got them from a ticket agency...)
My second show was Mansfield 98, I forget if it was night 1 or 2 but it was the infamous "quarter rant" night. I had like 3rd row for that. it was unbelievable. first "airplane" show was Key Arena (Seattle) '02. I might be done with airplane shows for a while though...
after that show I printed out a photo of ed in the crowd and I was right there next to him. I took a marker and drew an arrow and wrote "eddie vedder" then drew an arrow to me and wrote "me" and hung it on the door to my dorm room. no one was really impressed .
Hey All,
I saw on another thread something about posters? I would love a poster of my first PJ show. Do they sell them at every show? Advice please....

I've never gotten tix's through 10C even though I've been a member for many years so I'm hoping the tixs through 10c are good. I've been to a bunch of shows since 94 and usually would buy them at ticketmaster or pay a hefty sum and grab tickets off of ebay.

The actual event posters are scooped up very quickly, so I've been told, I've been to PJ concerts just after the doors open and those posters are gone.

I sat in section 11 in '03. Its not a bad seat. You do have screens that will provide close ups for you.
Well we can be buried together then....

They played Footsteps at my first show...t'was quite cool. I think I have seen it maybe 3-4 times now.

Funny, I was just listening to that bootleg.
Loved when he called the guy "Fucker".
We adopted that saying for the rest of my college career.
Clearly I need to get that one...wait...is that the 3 cd bootleg. if so I already have it....nevermind.

no it was in 98 before they had official bootlegs.
If you search in GTF (live) you'll be able to find it.
Great Thanks!!
