    That's hardly an answer. I think we can eliminate a couple of the unnamed countries because of business interests that Trump has there.

    Why do I think the others aren't named though? I'll answer your question. Very easily it's public relations. We've seen the outpouring of protests against this with "just" 7 countries. Right now, you start with these countries and then if it succeeds, you expand it to more. It's all just a strategy. With how horribly they rolled this out, can you imagine how bad it would have been if every Muslim country were included?

    We've ruled out a history of threats from these countries...what other common denominator is there aside from that?

    Ok. Just answer this one, true or false. The executive order signed by the President states that Christians be given preference in regards to admission to the United States.

    Very good. Not 1. There were a few failed attempts. But you are right, since 9/11 no casualties from terrorists from thosee 7.
    But those same 7 countries were on Obama's watchlist 7 most (terrist friendly/harbouring places in the world.). That list came from Obama's white house.
    Most attacks in the U.S. are homegrown jihadists correct?

    Trump is damn arrogant I agree and it annoys the hell out of me. But I think most presidents have a level of arrogance. To run in the first place you have to have a pretty big ego.
    i agree, you gotta have an ego and a certain arrogance to run for office. but i don't see how Clinton calling 50% Trump supporters deplorables is considered arrogant. it's more like a comment out of frustration. she's not saying that she was born smarter then them. she's calling them a name, but really how can you disagree when you see/hear the racism/bigotry spewed from these people? The Obama speech is totally off base. no arrogance there. just a man reminding people that government is made up of people and it does do some good. how is that arrogant?

    again, i take issue with people who think they are born smart and have nothing else to learn. go to a library. walk into the nonfiction section. open any book. i am almost willing to guarantee you the first page will blow your mind. now consider how many books and how many pages are left to read.

    this was only the beginning. they knew there would be backlash from it, so they started with the ones that they knew they could put the blame on Obama to try to sway the liberals into thinking "oh, well then it must have been ok". if they had gotten away with that, more bans would have come.

    except the ones with Trump financial interest, of course.

    but they, again, underestimated the intelligence of the electorate and other politicians. they think they are as dumb as Trump is.

    can you imagine the world right now if we just went into Afghanistan and never went into Iraq??? I don't think Americans really understand how much of the worlds chaos right now was caused by invading Iraq
