The irony of having to increase security to judges who just ruled against the immigration band (which is done in the name of defending us from terrorism) from homeland risks is just too much for me to compute late at night...

Yes, he is one man. That's scary enough given the power he has been given. I think the scary thing is that 60+ million people thought he was the man for the job. Not even that, but the lengths to which his followers will go to in his name. It's so weird. I've yet to hear a breaking point from his supporters as to where he'd lose them. That baffles me. I have them with every candidate I back and work for. I just don't get it.

Non of this was aimed at a religion. It was aimed where most of the terrorists originate from.
Federal judge James Robart's ruling putting a nation wide stay on those actions didn't bother to reference this statute; in part It would seem because the statue is crystal clear.
8 U.S. Code-1182-Inadmissible Aliens.
(f) Suspension or entry or imposition of restrictions by President.
Whenever the President finds that the entity of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States, would be detrimental to the interests of the United States: he may by proclamation and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or class of aliens as immigrants, or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate.
This of course includes a class of aliens from a specific countries.
(I.e. any one of the 7 named in the executive order.)
Could not be possibly clearer:

President Trump has the absolute authority to issue the actions that he did.

It is absolutely aimed at religion! If it weren't, why even bother mentioning giving preference to minority religions? (Christianity). Zero, 0, LESS THAN ONE American citizen has lost their life on our homeland from anyone from these countries in an act of terrorism since like 1973!
The Constitution outweighs the President here, and the Constitution says we do not prefer one religion over another.

Care to point out which terrorists and their attacks have originated from the seven countries on the ban? Care to expound on why "christians" from these countries aren't banned?

Rudy G went on Fox and talked about the President calling him. saying he wanted a Muslim ban, and how legally could they do it. Rudy suggested this very action.

The White House only has themselves to blame. He's the one calling it a ban, members of Congress call it a ban...

I think these two acts can't go unnoticed as to why we got the ruling we thankfully got tonight. This White House is inept at best.
