They are doing credit card and photo entry. Wonder how the flippers will make out on these shows.

GA are 2nd cheapest tickets. cheapest is upper level cheap seats $35/ticket+fees
i pulled up red zone tickets with ease today and dumped them back in when i saw the cost...even if a portion does go to charity i ain't paying $350 for any rock show!
then tried for 4 GA at $70/ticket plus fees and landed those with ease. credit card entry. unique code per fan club person. u2 did it right again. very happy with the price and the visuals&sound will be a+ in the middle of the field. it's a beautiful day

    Hoping for Toronto GA's tommorrow.
Never been to paperless ticket show. Sounds like it seems like a disaster trying to get 50,000 people into a show having to show id and credit card.
    Anyone have a bad experience?

I decided against the last U2 tour because ticket prices were astronomical. I think 2-300 for nosebleeds. If its more of the same for this then I'll sit this one out too.

To add I think it's cool that PJ does surprise shows with albums where as other bands promote a tour of it. I'm hoping that PJ never goes down the latter.

Agreed. I do enjoy the full album tours that bands do, but even on a non-full album tour they don't change their setlist, so I know I only need to see one show anyway. With Pearl Jam, a tour revolving around one full album would kill the urge to see them multiple times.

My buddy signed up for the U2 presale code today for $50 bucks. Wound up getting nothing because he could navigate TM's site and didn't want to spend $335 a ticket. LOL

I think only option today for that specific membership were the packages. Tomorrow presale would be for the regular tickets.
Only long time members got the regular ticket presale today.

Is it too late to join the u2.com membership to try for tickets? When is the presale?

I got tickets from the Bears pre-sale. Section 230, row 1. They were $175 each.

Does anyone know if those will be decent seats? I just grabbed what I could from the sale.

Presale for fan club members w active memberships prior to 12/24 is happening now.
Presale for memberships active after 12/24 happens tomorrow.
I checked the FAQs on their page and didn't see if/where is stated memberships purchased after pre-sale went active would be able to participate in it. It insinuates that you could participate in tomorrow's presale but doesn't explicitly say yes or no. Kind of an expensive gamble to take IMO. You may want to contact them.

I think it gives you the option to join when you buy the presale tickets tomorrow.

Wow. I didn't know people did this.
These are going to be big shows, I don't think the TM public sale tix will be all that hard to get...

Ya, I was surprised to see that. What ebay was showing for other listings was crazy. Big bucks to buy presale code that only allowed you to go have a chance at seeing what tickets you could get, which are pricey too!

I would not buy that code. It is for the Chicago Bears pre-sale which is sold out.

not the whole stadium is paperless. just the GA. FYI
  • This is the Chicago Bears Season Ticketholder Password, which entitles you to buy up to eight (8) tickets. Most of the other different pre-sales offered though the band, fan clubs, and credit cards allow only 2 or 4 tickets.

Don't need extra code. Worked something out. Thanks anyway. Good luck to everyone looking for tickets.
