Why do they even know he used a private email? Because he followed protocol and filed the proper documentation. According to state law he was allowed to as long as he filed all work related emails, which he did. At least no one has suggested he didn't. Hilary had her own server, which she destroyed after receiving a subpoena to hand over all work related emails and refused to obey a court order. She did not follow protocol and keep a record of her emails, but destroyed them instead on her private server which only she can control. If and when it is proven that Pence had a court order to hand over documentation, and later willingly destroys it instead without any other possible source to retrieve it, then you can have a comparison and ask about the outrage. Until then it is not even close to the same thing.
