  • 3D, D’ing, because as a Trump supporter, even he knows where the money trail will eventually lead. Untenable. Impeachment is very real, obstruction of justice, money laundering, tax evasion. It will make Richard Nixon’s “I’m not a crook,” look like theft of penny candy. In the meantime, Mueller is having fun connecting the dots because connecting dots is fun!

  • I don't know. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if Trump comes out of this unscathed, criminally speaking anyways. His handlers probably left him in the dark about all of their shady dealings knowing he's too stupid to keep it to himself. it was bad enough when he prompted Russia to find Hillary's missing emails.

Something very similar happened in the show Scandal, and it's not implausible. The election was rigged without the knowledge of the president; it was his campaign team that did all the dirty work. I could see that same thing happening here. Pat Donald on the head "don't you worry....we got this.....hey, it's been a while since you tweeted, why don't you go take a boom boom and tweet something?".

tRump with throw his SIL kushner and jr under a bus so he won't die in jail.  Just take this little nugget on how he treats his family:

In 1999, the Trump Sr. died, and 650 people, including many real estate executives and politicians, crowded his funeral at Marble Collegiate Church on Fifth Avenue. But the drama was hardly put to rest. Freddy’s son, Fred III, spoke at the funeral, and that night, his wife went into labor with their son, who developed seizures that led to cerebral palsy. The Trump family promised that it would take care of the medical bills.

Then came the unveiling of Fred Sr.’s will, which Donald had helped draft. It divided the bulk of the inheritance, at least $20 million, among his children and their descendants, “other than my son Fred C. Trump Jr.” Freddy’s children sued, claiming that an earlier version of the will had entitled them to their father’s share of the estate, but that Donald and his siblings had used “undue influence” over their grandfather, who had dementia, to cut them out. A week later, Mr. Trump retaliated by withdrawing the medical benefits critical to his nephew’s infant child.

“I was angry because they sued,” tRump explained.

Definitely a solid win for the dems, even looking historically.

The most notable victory to me is Lee Carter defeats House majority whip Ja xH Miller with zero help from the corrupt DNC. Im sure most of the true progressives here know all about him and his campaign. Carter, ex Marine, environmentalist, anti-pipeline guy, pro-union, pro-worker, fight against corporate interests banning corp campaign contributions, limiting individual contributions, single payer advocate.
Not even the democratic socialist tag could stop him. Kudos!

Some really interesting results last night. One of the more satisfying was Trump's guy Gillespie going down in flames and Trump blaming Gillespie. Another was a VA state rep race where Danica Roem, a transgendered reporter trounced the rep who had been elected 13 times over 26 years and authored VA's bigoted bathroom bill. Karma.

The big one for me was my local state senate race. It was the race to decide which party controls the senate in WA. Almost $10 million was funneled into the race (crazy for a suburban district in the far northwest part of the country). The Dem candidate won, which gives the WA state senate a Dem majority to go along with a Dem house, and a Dem governor. Most importantly, it completed what is known as the Blue Wall of resistance against Trump with CA, OR and WA now being Dem controlled. A big Fuck You to Trump from the left coast.

With Washington statehouse at stake, Democrats seek to build a West Coast wall of Trump resistance

"At stake is control of the state Capitol in Olympia. Democrats, who run the governments in California and Oregon, hope to build a blue wall of resistance the length of the West Coast and get a shot of momentum ahead of 2018 by extending their legislative winning streak under Trump."

I'm glad you're learning about Virginia in one day, but the "corrupt" DNC has never done much on the down ballot races in the state once you get past AG.  The national committee will provide some limited support, such as paying for flyers and items that have the executive seats but include the state delegates for your local area.  The state party typically is responsible for supporting the delegates, along with coordinated outside groups.  This year the DNC actually provided some funding to the races it considered competitive, but it's not like they ran ads or anything for any delegate candidates.  The fact that we closed the gap 13 or so seats in one cycle is a shock to everyone here.
Nice premise of your post though.  It must be the national committees hatred of liberals that drove them to support a transgender candidate in NOVA.

It's not even a fix...  Sanders signed a fundraising agreement with the DNC as well, just like Clinton.  The charge doesn't make any sense.  The only way the national committee could actually "fix" a result would be in the caucus states.  The parties control the caucuses, but Sanders dominated those.  The primaries are run by the state boards and Clinton dominated the primaries.  The entire charge of "rigged" or "fixed" doesn't make sense and is no different than words like "fake news" that Trump has managed to introduce into the lexicon.

No, I didnt see it. Im sure there is a youtube vid.
Here is news for you, I guess Ill have to spell it out, since some on here like posting outright lies.
Hilliary being the team player and country over party candidate she is and was felt it necessary to take on the 5 year old cumulative debt of the DNC (overhead doubled under DWS) by using the $353,400 scheme in exchange for complete control over data technology analytics research and communications long before the primary. Its almost akin to blackmailing your own party, instead of helping build the party, the geniuses thought it was better to exploit it for their own gain (which turned out to be a $1.4B loss!) Then on top of it, flat out boldfaced lied (to their constituents and to those down ballot) that the money raised would go to help down ballot Dems.

The Clinton/DNC agreement cited by Brazile only applied to the general election, not the primary.

    Viral Falsehood #2

Sanders signed the same agreement with the DNC that Clinton did.

    Viral Falsehood #3

Brazile stupidly thought she could unilaterally remove Clinton as the nominee.

Okay, let me counter your arguments here:

    1. If the Clinton campaign provided material funding for the DNC, then they have absolute right to be a part of hiring decisions for key positions.  I don't even care if it's before or after the primary.  If you purchased or were a material investor in a house, car, company, bag of groceries, wouldn't you want or demand influence in how any of those items are being utilized?  To not put that in a contract would be malpractice.  If Sanders provided similar funding, he would also have the right to demand that influence.

    2. It is a fact that Sanders signed a joint fundraising agreement, same as Clinton.  I didn't say, nor have I heard people say, the language was precisely the same.  Same as above,

    3. The point (in my mind) on the Brazile "plan" to remove Clinton, such as it was, was not whether she believed she could do it unilaterally, it's whether it was rational or appropriate for her to consider moving on such a plan.  Was she buying into the Trump bullshit about Clinton's health?  That was the important part.

    4. I have no idea what any of this about.

So here's a question I have... and I don't know the answer but can probably guess.  How much did Clinton give to the DNC during the election cycle and how much did Sanders give?  Who kept them afloat?

The most notable victory to me is Lee Carter defeats House majority whip Ja xH Miller with zero help from the corrupt DNC. Im sure most of the true progressives here know all about him and his campaign. Carter, ex Marine, environmentalist, anti-pipeline guy, pro-union, pro-worker, fight against corporate interests banning corp campaign contributions, limiting individual contributions, single payer advocate.
Not even the democratic socialist tag could stop him. Kudos!
Here's some evidence for you.  This was on my door step.  You can see the delegate paid for it.

Liberals in NOVA voted for Roem because they are sick of sitting in traffic. It had nothing to do with her gender. The real beauty of her election is that local (liberal) voters barely paid attention to that issue. I only found out by accident after looking her up -- after driving to my mom's repeatedly (sitting in traffic) and seeing her primary campaign signs all over the place last spring, in a part of her district where one does not see Democrat signs at all.

The success in VA is attributable to an overwhelming increase in grassroots activism by ordinary people who woke up on Nov 9 crying WTF. The local parties gained significant numbers in membership and volunteerism immediately following Trump's election. I am active in my local party. The DNC does not fundraise for us or contribute to any local campaigns in any significant way, much to the chagrin of district leaders. They provide legal support mostly, and coordinate speakers for big events, and blow hard on TV. But nobody at any meetings I attended ever considered the DNC as a major influence on getting the actual work done. Sure, they wanted to win big and they said that repeatedly on national news. But it was the candidates themselves, their volunteers, and their voters who went out on a miserable rainy day who won these races.

I would say that I am shocked by it, but I'm not. This was not a surprise to me who has been involved way before last Nov. and known the relentless strategy that has gone into building up the local parties. The desire and a plan to win these districts has been in place a long time. We just finally got the candidates to challenge incumbents and the voters to get out and do it. If there's any surprise to me, it's that the people got off their asses and finally voted their own interests.

Would you consider Tuckers audience "above or beneath" the audience of O'Reilly?

They're largely the same, uninformed idiots.
