What's the deal Canadians? The lack of understanding what it really means when YOUR country just elected a nutcase for the next 4 years is apparent. Yeah, you're angry, but imagine how we feel.

If we have to take a bit to recollect, than so be it.

    There is no deal.
Put your x in the box.
Technically it was a color in the oval type quiz. America failed! I think an "X " in the box is why we had a recount in 2000. Too many hanging chads :)

    Where are those posters anyway?
They must've calmed down since election night and have accepted President-elect Trump.
There has been nothing but calm on the train since election night now that some have left.

The problem with the realists is that they can't seem to make sense of ideas that would make this country better.

Changing things is going to be necessary with this latest election. Something realists can't wrap their head around.

Get rid of two party system allowing third-party's. Changing the primary process in all states. Improving the election process for the better of the voters not the system. I can go on.

No kidding. I keep having flashes of anger when I hear about things happening and run through possible future situations and how trump will probably respond. Then I see these trump voters basically going 'hey, let's all come together now, it'll be okay'. I'm like you didn't just elect Marco Rubio or some other schmoe. Do you see what's happening? People are being harassed and threatened because of your stupid choice. Kids are afraid to go to school. Take some effin responsibility for what you just did. Explain to me how you make it okay.

Four years isn't long enough to do that. Maybe after his eighth but not his fourth.

It's not about fear of him destroying the US, but I agree (did I just type that) about relaxing. I normally very relaxed and in the moment, and I've been getting away from that lately. Now we need to move to the next step of countering the racism and prejudice that is surfacing since the bigots got the go ahead from trump. We need to gather as a community to oppose that garbage. Are you around any young people? They're completely floored and upset by this. Socially, we have to put this all back together. The economic regression that will happen we have less control over.

The racism and prejudice has always been there w/ or w/out President-elect Trump.
All communities should oppose racism and prejudice no matter who their leader is. Yes I hear chatterings of young people upset about the win but they seem to be dealing w/ it by making fun of him in cartoon memes. That is the level of the younger generation today from having grown up only knowing a liberal way which inturn has left them unable to know what compromise is. There were hundreds of thousands crying at the loss. That is not healthy.
Nothing is going to happen to them because the President has changed.

When you say nothing will change, I understand why you would think that but you are forgetting that R's now have control of both congress and the senate. Things are going to change.
Something else to think about, the great and up and coming minds of the world are not going to be enticed at the thought of coming here. The Elon Musks for example. There is going to be a global shift in perception of the united states now that he is our representative.

The government won't even show up in North Dakota.

If they can't do that, they're not gonna make any changes about Trump winning. Nothing will change sadly, but things surely SHOULD.

then i see a video of pm trudeau speaking at the UN telling everyone we need unity, not division, and all that. it's bizarro world from the US.

I will say this, just my opinion of course, but if one thinks they are making a difference in this fucked up world that we are living in by posting opinions on a Rock n Roll forum, well more power to you. Bri saying he is going to go out and be more actively involved in causes he feels strongly about surely gets my attention and respect. I would love to hear from people on here that might have actively joined in on a "Trump is not my President" Protest and more importunely to me a Blacklives Matter Protest……now that would get my attention and might get me off my crapper.

What makes you think i particularly care if a bunch of overpaid career politicians can get along, thats the states problem, not mine...

I've noticed there's quite a bit of Canadian influence on here that seems to be trying to create an argument just for the sake of it....2016 watch it go to fire.
Yeah, 30bills and hugh and Pjsoul are groovy though, they arent trying to stir shit up unlike trollwillnevergo and another
What's groovy is that I've noticed there's no more rhetoric from some posters about the whole nazi and hitler bullshit and how
President-elect Trump can be compared to that.
    Where are those posters anyway?
They must've calmed down since election night and have accepted President-elect Trump.
There has been nothing but calm on the train since election night now that some have left.

I'm not calm, I'm mad as hell!

Oh well, we all have our ups and downs, this must be a highly entertaining time for you, congrats on that.
I know I am entertained and have had a permismile the past few days. I'd like to report that all the sore LOSER's protesting in my town will be getting participation trophies and a 8 year supply of tissue's sponcered by Klennex....
All there is left to do is SMILE, SMILE, SMILE....
can you articulate exactly what makes you so happy about this? i'm asking honestly, not trying to bait you. because i see you post statements like this, but when people ask you direct questions, you slink away. what is it that you are hoping for? tougher on crime? less immigration? the wall? what is the big issue for you? or are there many?
Can't do it Hugh. I learned a long time ago being honest is not taken too kindly around here. I come on here purely for the entertainment value, just like many of you are hopefully.

I am real happy for you and flattered you took it upon yourself to speak for me. It's nice to see someone getting out of Mommy and Daddies basement and doing something productive.

You're welcome. Let me know the next time the big musky is too scared to be honest in here.
