I bought this game a few years back and it didn't click. I was moving stuff around and noticed it had a solo mode so I gave it a try and it made sense! It is a pretty quick game (solo is around 10-20 minutes) but gets you thinking. Rules are simple but the restrictions (same color or number cannot by placed adjacent, etc) and number placement along with the luck of the die roll make for good times.
That Play museum is now on my list to check out, very cool! So fun having game nights but it's tough getting 4 or 5 40 year old something friends together that all have kids I love board games, some of my favs (spelling is prob off lol) Catan obviously Wingspan (and wrymspan . finspan) Tokaido and sequal namigi 7 wonders Azul Photosynthesis Steampark Splendor Magic the gathering but that's in it's own seperate area lol, haven't played in like 20 years
Wouldn't it be funny if the world ended in 2010, with lots of fire?
I ordered Elder Scrolls Betrayal of the Second Era ... not sure if it was a wise decision based on the cost, but I'm very familiar with the games and lore. I've tried to get into complex games in the past, but no one I know really is that interested so most have collected dust. This has a solo mode which will hopefully teach me the game. Hopefully it will arrive before the weekend arrives.
On the opposite side of the gaming spectrum, I got Flip Seven which looks faced paced and easy for anyone to play ... kinda like a blackjack game.
I got my sister Wingspan for Xmas a few years back and I'm certain it has yet to be played. I should go grab it from her!
Azul is like Sagrada in the sense that I bought it a few years back and have yet to dive into it.
