I was going through some of my old board games and posted a few of them on facebook marketplace. The ones I listed were as followed for $10 each. Didn't think I would get a response from anyone but this one dude from Connecticut was very interested in one of them.- Trivial Pursuit Young Players edition (1984)- Risk (1959)- Pro Football 3M (1966)- Sports Illustrated Baseball game (1971)The guy was very interested in the SI baseball game and he said I can't let you sell it for $10. I did see it vary in price on ebay going as high as $500 though. He offered me $150 for it. I honestly was shocked and didn't think he would pay me, but he did. He was very excited to play it. He might try and resell it if that's what the going price is but it's alright. Made someone happy at least.8/28/98- Camden, NJ

That's another one people have gone nuts over.
Very nice of the guy to buy the SI game for that much. I don't think many people would be that honest about it.0 -

I can't remember if it was Start-o-matic or not. I don't know if I still have it. I do remember that you had players statistics. I usually played the Phillies vs the Reds cause they were the best teams at the time. Each player had their own stat card. I think you had to roll the dice and match what it came up with to that players card.

Cluedo is one of my favourites. Bought it recently as I’d never actually owned it, I use to play friends or relatives. Always a good one with a group of people. Scattergories is also one of my favourites. Makes you think but plenty of fun along the way!Post edited by BrainofBGA onMelbourne #1 '98

Strat o Matic and APBA are the big ones.
In strat o matic, you roll the dice and many results are on the cards. You do get referred to various charts.
APBA, you roll and get a number and get referred to a book that gives you the result.
I actually still play strat o matic.
There are a few other good ones. Replay Baseball and History Maker baseball. IMO nothing is built as perfectly as Strat0 -
Code Names is a pretty good game for groups of people that don't play games often. I played it for the first time during Thanksgiving and it took one practice game to get a good grip on the rules. There are two teams with each team having a "spymaster". The spymaster gives a one-word clue and state how many cards they think their team can pick based off that clue. The spymasters use that card with all the squares to determine which cards are red team vs blue team. Very easy for beginners to learn so I was certainly glad to play that instead of "Apples to Apples" which drives me nuts. Game is pretty cheap too. It's no Cones of Dunshire though ....Be Excellent To Each OtherParty On, Dudes!0
