It is weird...is it because no Ed so far? I'm leaving work in an hour to head to the city from northern NJ.
if thats why, shame on NY.
totd isn't pearl jam. don't ever underestimate the selling power of ed.
the people selling their tickets here knew what they were buying from the beginning. they bought totd tickets. the band should have skipped NY and stayed down here at the tower for a couple more nights. NY comin up weak....
Philly did it right, man!!!!
The philly arena holds 3,000 people. MSG holds over 18,000. Of course there will be more tix available for NYC.
Philly was a blast. the 3k was what made it special. I am predicting TOTD Philly shows > New York

Biased much lol. They'll be the same sets
lol seriously. Philly was the warm up for tonight
It's all just the warm up for Seattle.
And having gone to both Philly and NY for the PJ shows, Philly smashed it by a landslide.
Anything you lose from being honest You never really had to begin with.
Sometimes it's not the song that makes you emotional it's the people and things that come to your mind when you hear it.
didn't get the whole tour, just the east coast... luckily, that woulda killed me I think trying to make art for all the shows, the 7 for the RNDM tour was way more to handle then originally anticipated
will be sending out email announcement for sale later today, sale tomorrow morning.
Is there merchandise for sale outside the venue at MSG?

I will sadly admit this is probably true. I think the MSG magic for PJ (and related) is gone.
Maybe... it was never there to begin with... :O

Since I had two posters, I was thinking of trying to incorporate duality in some way... unfortunately, when thinking about TOTD the main duality that hits you in the face is life and death. I mentioned that to Jeff, and he asked me if I'd seen Stranger Things (which I had just watched) and he brought up The Upside Down...which if you haven't seen the show is this alternate dimension that exists right next to ours... int he show it's evil and scary and bad things live there, but him mentioning that made me think about this idea of the other realm of life that is death.
Some may say there is nothing after life... others say there's a whole other aspect to existence after life... I liked incorporating that mystery in the designs, this idea of another realm... that even though Andy is gone, perhaps like all of us, he's just in another realm of existence. Who knows, but that's the intriguing part about the mysteries of life.
So the two posters very much deal with life and death and the possibility of other realms, or of crossing over into another plane of existence.

They seriously should have sold Make America Grunge Again hats and shirts
So. Much. Flannel.
This made me laugh. I was sitting in my seat at the philly 2 show and it suddenly occurred to me how much flannel was within my immediate visual field. It cracked me up. That said....
I'd totally buy a make America grunge again shirt.

I want one of the APs of this one so badly. Lined up a trade (thankfully!) for the show version but prefer the signed and numbered copy to frame.
