Nothing man from GCF next Xmas single?

Does anyone have a feeling that tonight's performance of Nothingman might be the next Xmas single? I kinda enjoyed that version. It would be cool but also kind of weird to have back to back years of a GCF Xmas single

    I'd actually be a little disappointed. I like Nothingman, and have since I bought vitology 20+ years ago. Still, I don't get the love affair with it. About a year and a half ago, there was some March madness style voting poll the ended with black as the winner. I don't get that either.....PJs best song? Not sure. I love rocking the fuck out, and those songs seem to lull me to sleep. To each their own, but I'll never get it.

    I'm betting it will be "Fathers & Sons" with Cat Stevens.
    Ed does Trouble and Don't Be Shy by CS in his solo shows,
    so wouldn't be surprised to see this make the cut!!

    Why not release it as a single with the profits going towards the Global Citizens charity efforts. Save some never heard before, unreleased b-sides for the Xmas single.

    This was a little strange honestly. The piano just sounded like noise rather than fitting with the song. The song never gets old though.

    Not a fan. Agree with drake, the piano doesn't fit. At all.

    I can't decide. At times it sounded a little disjointed, but at times it sounded incredible. But that was mostly because of Ed's voice carrying it. He sounded pretty good tonight.

    I love the piano here. It's going to take some more listens to get sold entirely on it, but I see where Chris was going with it.
    I wish the piano were prominent in some PJ songs (not Future Days) and hearing the next generation of artists take classics like Nothing Man are reimagine them is pretty cool.
