    Yield showed up an hour west of Detroit, today. No Code has made it's way to Urbancrest, Ohio. The singles are still sitting the warehouse, i guess??

    Apparently the allure of the Auburn night scene has delayed vinyl deliveries. It's like the Bermuda triangle over there. Been there since 08/31.

    I've been pretty lucky with mail innovations getting things to Chicago pretty quickly from 10c, but these records are fucking dragging. Took Yield 4 days to get from WA to Chicago. Now, it's been more than a day and they haven't gotten it to USPS yet. At this point I'm hoping for it tomorrow, but it might be Friday. And, No Code hasn't even left the 10c warehouse yet, after getting a shipping notification on September 2nd.

    I'm in Minnesota and that's the same timeframe I've gotten for both. Although I see my package is now 30 minutes from my house and has been since 630 this morning. Should finally be here tomorrow; unless they decide it should travel back to Auburn!

    Mail Innovations must smoke far more bails enroute than the horse would eat for it to take that long.

    Definitely a very broken system..

    I wonder what prevents companies like the 10c from simply using USPS for deliveries? They seem cheaper, and they're great for both domestic and international deliveries (as their packages automatically get handed off to what ever the regional government delivery entity is).

    Does Mail Innovations pick up all the packages or something? They must do something above and beyond that USPS doesn't do? I seem to be failing on figuring out what it is. As a Canadian USPS would be the best. USPS usually takes 10 business days (two weeks for) US to Canada delivery (most of which is the delay at Canadian customs). USPS has tracking for US to CDN packages (which seems to transition over well to the Canada Post program). USPS shipping rates pretty reasonable.

    Derby Dave and I were comparing MI scans this afternoon. Seems as though mine was scanned 1 minute before his. They were both slightly south of Columbus in the UPS holding town of Urbancrest. He is in Columbus and his No Code went to Cincinnati. I'm 2 hours northeast of him and mine went to Pittsburgh. We're still wondering who will win. :i_dunno:

    But, Yield . . . that was delivered today! Since it arrived on a 95 degree day and was placed on a step out in the sun, I sent my neighbor a quick text to go save the vinyl. He did. :smile: (Thank you USPS for delivery notification texts!)

    Arg! This system is the fucking worst shit ever! I could have walked to Seattle from Texas and picked the shit up myself in the time that it has taken these fuckers to send my records to the other side of town. This is such fucking bullshit!!!

    I'm not sure which is worse, this or the bootleg CD ordering from Nugs. I ordered my Telluride CD through 10C coming up on a month ago and I finally received an email from them all excited to tell me that my shit is finally ready to ship. Thanks dudes, way to get right on that. Then again, this is the norm with them.
