"We will take that little [DNA] kit, but we have to do it gently. Because we’re in the #MeToo generation so we have to be very gentle. And we will very gently take that kit and we will slowly toss it, hoping it doesn’t injure her arm even though it only weighs probably two ounces. And we will say: I will give you a million dollars, paid for by Trump, to your favorite charity, if you take the test and it shows you’re an Indian."

She took a DNA test, which showed she is Native American.  Point  proven.  Anything beyond that is moving goalposts.

Did someone call an actual Native America “Pocahontas”?  No...they are probably coming up with their own names for Warren now, though :)

OK, somebody clue me in, please.  What do Native Americans and taking a knee have to do with each other.  Wounded Knee?  I'm lost here.

Lol @ Wounded Knee!  Nothing, they have nothing to do with each other...similar to Warren ;)

Then why are people talking about Elizabeth Warren and Native Americans here?

I NEED TO KNOW THESE THINGS!

Weird, I don't remember Native Americans issuing a challenge or setting the terms.

Weird, I don't seem to recall Warren applying for tribal status, or offering to meet their standards.

tRUmp drew the line in the sand, not the Native American community.

Yeah, because it's ok to use derogatory terms reserved for racial/cultural slander as long as the recipient does not have 100% origin from that racial/cultural descent. That seems like a good standard. Moral standards, got to have some you know.

Seems odd that people have forgotten about the “one drop rule” - you know, the one that said that if anyone had “one drop” of African blood they were considered black, and thus not eligible for the privileges of being white? Only ever given any credence in the US, and particularly in the South.

Seems the right can play whichever side it wants, when it’s convenient for them.

Warren took the bait and that was foolish.  But at the end of the day, Trump also moved the goal posts, no surprise because he is a liar and notoriously cheap with his own money (not ours).
If I were NA, I'd be annoyed with both of them.  Trump for using the derogatory term over and over and Warren for being a fool.

What's preferable, a racist or a fool?  You decide.

Maybe to you, and certainly in the grand scheme of things, but that's why Warren was stupid.  It was a trap and it was a non-issue until she stooped to her level.

Yes, that was what she did, unfortunately.... But surely only the most biased people would let this stupid little issue, this misstep, especially considering the level of frustration that Trump creates, be a deal breaker. If this is all it takes, then minds have been lost.

Warren cleared the table now, so it won't be an issue later.  This whole matter will be a distant memory by the time Warren runs in 2020.  tRUmp and his supporters will have to find some other derogatory way to attack Warren now.
