I didn't see any of the disclaimer signs or very much of the camera stuff, only a little, but about 7 or 8 songs into night 2, I tapped my girlfriend on the shoulder and said "this weekends shows will be a part if some video". Night one obviously had more well known songs for the weekend crowd. AND it was flawless and great. Then, night two comes and they just rip into very well played album like versions of great songs. Early on there wasn't downtime between songs, rather one very accurate version of a song followed by another.

Especially if next year is a light year with no album and minimal shows. Perfect time to release something.
There's no way Ed doesn't want some kind of living record of this amazing thing. Professionally playing Wrigley has to be his absolute peak as a performer.
I think they wanted to do this for 13 but couldn't for a few reasons. Ed was clearly upset at the way that year turned out.
Camera crews everywhere this weekend (including the Murphy's roof), Danny Clinch everywhere, signs about recording more frequently posted, and the camera work for the screens at Wrigley/Fenway all make it promising.
The POV camera from the top of the stage looking down was pretty cool. Too bad they couldn't get the main screen right working. Lots of interference.
Gutta think there has to be some kind of video release coming next year, right? Should be a big year for them with induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and what a better way to promote it with a special box set
It has been a while since they have done a video release. So i guess you could say we are due. That being said, it happens when it happens. Until then, I'm sure they have great intentions, its whether or not the footage is gonna work for a release.
I don't think people should be champing at the bit for this release (like PJ20 or Wrigley 2013). If its a gonna happen it will. Threads and petitions won't move it along.
um...i only went to Wrigley 2 this tour.. I was behind home plate, so the screens were my friend. And that was easily the best camera work for a concert being shown up there that i have ever seen. The shots, the cuts..it looked good enough to go straight to tape

The crew was really good this tour. Watching the replay of Fenway 1 at the House of Blues was incredible. Either of the Fenway shows would make an amazing release, and I'm sure the Wrigley shows are the same.

Did the band really have the same clothes. All of them?
Yes.
Except for Stone had different underwear on. Mikes guitar playing on night 1 made him crap his pants. Subsequently, he threw that pair away and wore boxer briefs on night 2.
Keep an eye out...I have heard, on good authority, the ones he threw away MAY end up on ebay...
