My 26th show tonight, but my first one going alone. PLEASE READ.

Hey everyone,

I'm a longtime fan from Los Angeles, and I had made peace with the fact that I was going to miss out on these Fenway shows. They were too far, I lost the lottery, etc, etc. But I found myself visiting my sister in upstate New York this week, and when I realized that going to one of these shows was even a POSSIBILITY, I knew I had to find a way to make it happen. Yesterday, I was able to buy a single, obstructed view ticket for tonight's show through Ticketmaster.

Against my better (financial) judgement, I knew I had to do it. I'm on a train right now to New York, and will be hopping on a bus to Boston just in time to make it for the show.

I'm going through a rough time personally, having just gotten out of a very long-term but challenging relationship.

This will be my 26th Pearl Jam show, but my first time ever going alone.

Friends, family, faithful... I'm all alone. This is something of a vision quest for me. A healing journey to process my thoughts and surround myself with the positive energy of the band and the community. I'm grateful to have gotten into the building, but I have an obstructed view seat and sure would love to see the stage.

Can anyone help me out? I'm a 32-year-old, well-adjusted normal guy from Los Angeles with a broken heart, and turning to the PJ community to reach down and pick me up a little bit. If anyone out there has a +1 that they're not using, I'd love if you'd consider upgrading my seat. I'll buy you a beer (or two), and swap some good stories of our favorite shows and favorite performances.

Either way, it's going to be great tonight, and I can't wait.

    This is true. I'm going solo tonight and have numerous times in the past. If anything it's more fun not worrying about anyone else.

    I went alone for the first time to a Pearl Jam show earlier this year and it was one of the better experiences I've had out of the 22 times that I have seen them. Have a few beers and get to know/rock out with the other fans around you and I guarantee it will be a blast!

    Also, PLAY LEASH!!!!!

    Tickets are not sold I believe behind the 1st base(Red Sox) dugout, yet they are not entirely obstructed by the sound board. They filled up on Friday and I am sure they will tonite. Find your way there. Find section 112 loge box and make your way there behind the dugout. Unless they started selling tickets there you'll find plenty of PJ mates. I was sitting right behind this section Friday.

    I'm a little nervous going to Wrigley 1 since I'll be solo and it's show #1 for me but also super excited.
    2016- Wrigley 1

    Im 17 and unfortunately none of my friends are into Pearl Jam like I am. The three shows I've went to, including Fenway night 1, were all alone. People make it out to be much worse than it actually is. Going with someone is obviously great because youre sharing a special time with someone but when you are alone you dont have to worry about anyone and you'll be more inclined to make friends with everyone in your area which is always my favorite. All the people that I've met at PJ concerts were amazing and we went back and forth sharing great stories. Just go into things with an open mind and you'll never be dissapointed.
