Family emergency, can't attend 4/8 show. Can I give away my 10C tix?

Hi all, I won the lottery for reserved tickets for this Friday, April 8, in Ft Lauderdale... the tour opener!
I am currently dealing with a family health-related emergency, and it breaks my heart that I will not be able to attend.
I understand that these tickets are non-refundable. If there's a way I could get a refund, great, but more importantly, I don't want these tickets to go to waste. I probably have really good seats and I'm sure they could go to another fan. It would be a shame if they are held at the box office for no one and the seats sit empty for the whole show.

Is there a way to "release" these tickets to another fan?

I'll still be attending the 5/1 show for which I also won the lottery, so all is not lost for me. Just looking to do the right thing here, as I'm sure there's someone out there who's shut out of this concert and desperately looking for a way in.

Email the tenclub. I had to do this in 2008. They never wrote me back, but I wrote 2-3 times to make it clear I wouldn't be there and if they wanted to give them to someone or hand them out on the street I hoped they would so someone could use them. They don't do transfers, otherwise I would happily use them and not use my seats behind the stage! But like I said, all you can really do is let them know and they may or not have someone to give them to.

Already e-mailed them, but I'm sure they're getting a deluge of e-mails and may not get to it in time. Hoping maybe a moderator here sees this and ushers it into the right hands.

Yeah, like I said, they never responded to me, so don't be surprised if they do the same for you. Though I feel like I have read posts like this where they do respond to peoples emails and at least acknowledge it.

    @Kat @Santos L. Halper @Sea

That will alert the mods to this thread, anyway.... Hopefully someone gets the memo on time, because empty seats suck. ;)
Really sorry to hear about your family health crisis. :frowning: I hope the person in question will be okay.

On show day, some random person will be getting a seat upgrade.
And so you see, I have come to doubt

I was unable to travel to Amsterdam last Euro tour. Here is the email reply I received:
We are sorry to hear you won't be able to make it. Unfortunately we cannot donate these tickets as they are already associated with a non-profit. In a situation when a member is unable to make it to the show the member has 2 options. We can either mail the tickets after the show as a sort of souvenir. Or the member can opt to allow the Ten Club to gift the tickets for free to a fan in need. This is usually either a fan outside the venue looking to get in, or depending on the location of the tickets, we like to use these tickets to upgrade the little kids attending with their parents, but are up in the nose bleeds.

Since the tickets have already been paid for, no money is exchanged. This is just a simple courtesy we like to do rather than have the seats go empty, plus we like to think there will be some good karma involved for the fan unable to attend.

Only the fan club rep working the show may choose the lucky fan who gets to use these tickets. This is to prevent ticket scalping in the fan club, and is the only way gifting can be done.

    Best regards,
    10c

Thanks @OceansMagnet . Hopefully I'll get a similar response in time, as this solution works for me.

No worries @TenaciousLibbs. Positive vibes to you and your family. FWIW the good karma came through this tour as I got all 3 of my first picks in the lottery. I don't think 10club Intervened, I just think the odds coincidentally fell in my favor and I am extremely grateful. Peace and Love.

Thanks everyone... FYI, I did just hear back from 10C ticketing. Looks like the tix will, in fact, go to a fan in need, and I'll get some much-needed good karma. See y'all at MSG!
