Well, Chris Cornell with the members of Pearl Jam backing is a pretty good band even if TOTD never existed.
im not disagreeing but how many people have heard of this band, that did 1 album only, that had less than amazing album sales, and is an album that is 25 years old? you and i and everyone here is all excited but to play MSG is questionable to me. maybe they aren't playing full stadium at msg? side note-please don't take any of this as being negative i'm just wondering....

That is a crazy tour with respect to venue capacity.

I'm sure he'll at least show up in Seattle. But he just does one song, so probably wouldn't join them for the whole tour. But you never know. Either way, he's not an actual member of the band, so even if he shows up for each show to do Hunger Strike, there's no reason for him to be listed as a band member.
True - but they have to flesh out a set of like 15-20 more songs. What are they playing? Makes as much sense to play pearl jam songs as soundgarden songs. Can't be 15 covers
I wouldn't expect them to play any SG or PJ songs (maybe, but I doubt it, and certainly not PJ ones. Why would they have PJ play at a TOTD concert? That wouldn't really be normal). Apparently they have several unheard songs from the original sessions though, and they are supposedly going to be on a deluxe reissue. So I am guessing that they play those as well as most of or all of the original album.
All good points. Curious to see what these become, also if they tour with opening support.
But at the time same time, that's only 10 songs plus 3-4 unheard songs. The album is 55 minutes long. That's hardly worth $96/ticket (to me). I would guess that they play some Soundgarden and PJ songs just to make the shows actually worth the ticket price. No one plays a 1 hour concert at MSG.
The deluxe reissues says that there are something like 50+ additional tracks on it (song plus other bits of material I assume, since there obviously couldn't be 50+ extra songs, lol), so I don't think it's only 3 - 4 unheard songs from that. Do you have more info to think it's that few?

With the dates being so stretched out from the forum to Seattle do you think another Seattle date will be added, I'm hoping for a Seattle general admission show, what's the chances?
2016- TOTD Seattle Night 1+2 2018- Home Shows Night 1+2, Missoula

Highly doubt any PJ/SG songs get played. I would guess Temple and MLB (Stardog and Man of Golden Words would be obvious choices).
I'm too old to deal with GA anymore and the only date on this tour with GA is in my area. Boo hoo. At least I'm lucky to get a show close. Tempted to fly up to Seattle.
sit in the balcony. no drama up there. no bad seat in the house.. I did it for all 3 shows in 06, sat in the front row of the balcony dead center. Great view!
I would love to go to the Seattle show! I currently don't have the funds to pay for pre sale and only need one ticket anyway. If anyone ends up with a spare ticket I would have no problem meeting before the show and paying for the ticket then.

Just booked flights and hotel to Seattle from NY...now just have to try to get tickets! If anyone snagged pre-sale seats and is still going for 10C lottery (and wins) and needs to unload a pair, please PM me. Thank you!!! I'll have to bump this comment on Wednesday...

Yeah, it really sucks that we can't buy singles through 10C.

I grabbed a pair for Philly in the presale..... now I have to hope my buddy will make the road trip with me! (that 3100 seat capacity has me drooling considering the lineup - I couldn't pass it up)
I expect a few MLB tunes, and wouldn't be at all surprised to see a Mad Season song or two thrown in for fun. (I wouldn't think this had Cornell not done the Sonic Evolution show, but based on that, it wouldn't shock me)
One thing I can say for sure, I did not expect to get Temple of the Dog tickets today!
What an awesome surprise, and this was completely out of the blue - at least to me, I had not heard any rumors about this in advance.
(Side note: my Chris Cornell e-mail came through when the presale was all over - thanks to the folks on this forum who shared the password - I would have never had a chance otherwise)
i have a strong feeling some dates will be added... maybe not any cities, but it wouldn't be a shock to see a philly date added
with that being said i hope they add Saturday because we currently have a pair of tickets to the first ever full TOTD concert... in philly... on a Friday night... and i hope to keep it that way!!!!!!

That is exactly what I'm thinking!
1991- Hollywood Palladium, California with Temple of the Dog, Soundgarden, and Alice in Chains -RIP Magazine Show Oct. 6th 1992- Lollapalooza, Irvine, California Nothing since then. I suck. 2016- Fenway Park, Boston - Both glorious nights 2022- Oakland Night 2 2024 Sacramento, CA
i wouldn't expect Ed outside of Seattle... but i certainly wouldn't complain... they have to play Hunger Strike and honestly it would suck to see someone else butcher it like i saw on the Cornell solo songbook tour
I really think they will add an extra Seattle show or two. The Paramount is so small, and there is so much desperation in Seattle for a local PJ show let alone ToTD. I would expect ToTD could easily sell out two nights at Benny Hall, let alone the Paramount! I love the Paramount, such a great, historic venue, and am really hoping for some luck in the lottery.

How do you have 192/24 on a piece of media that only supports 44/16? Did I miss some innovation somewhere, or am I misreading this?
