Hey, Mike. How about throwing in some random signed Polaroids from the HOF induction ceremony in addition to the other coming with the book... obviously, me first please??
I've hemmed and hawed about getting this for days. I keep asking myself what polaroid of something do I want to have from Mike? I think the crowd polaroids are neat for getting a stage perspective. I wouldn't want much else. What pictures would others like to see?

Doubt it'll happen but would be sweet if happened.

I agree with you 100%. The crowd shots are cool but other than that.... Then one night I had a few vodka/clubs and the book all of a sudden became a holy grail of intimate moments from the band lol.

A few eh? Must have been pretty stiff ones. Ha. It's dangerous enough drunk posting let alone drunk shopping

I balked the 1st time round. Then regretted not getting it. Then bought it the second time around.

It's going to be a cool item.
I did the exact same. I realized I should have got it based on how disappointed I was when it sold out. Autograph Polaroid is worth half the cost to me.

It'll be neat when people post pictures of their polaroids.
Also kind of makes you wonder why the 10c cant sell these things to members cheaper than Amazon does.....with free 2-day shipping since most of us have access to prime. That's a little annoying to me.

Amazon is huge. No small business can compete with them price/shipping wise, and survive for the long run.

Pre-sale still active. Do you think the 10C saw all the demand from the first posting of the book and when it "sold out", they just looked at how many hundreds or thousands of people missed out and then came back to us yesterday like "oh hey, we found / printed some more" and just slapped the word "limited" on the post? I dunno - seems fishy.

True. But I'm going to go ahead and assume whatever distributor fees are associated with selling via Amazon are a lot more than going through 10c. Youre right in that 10c cant compete with shipping, but charging 30% more for a book that anyone who bought from Amazon most likely checked here first seems odd. They could at least throw in some stickers laying around to make up for the shipping and Amazon wouldn't sell any. I guess this book is different than a CD they record and use their own label for. There's probably a lot more using an outside publisher than your own label. But still seems like Amazon is an extra middle man compared to using the 10c, which is essentially the band's own private distribution method. I would be curious to know how many bought from 10c compared to Amazon, and bought from Amazon and is someone who regularly visits PJ's site and would have otherwise bought it from here is it wasn't $10 - $12 more on a $30 item. I mean, how many people are going to buy a Mike McCready book who aren't a big enough fan to regularly visit this website? My guess is very few. I don't see this book as an impulse buy at Barnes and Noble to the random guy who didn't already look for it here first. It didn't seem odd to me that the Singles reissue was cheaper almost anywhere else, because that isn't a Pearl Jam release. But my first thought was the best place to buy a book by one of their members should be here, not a third party. The answer is there's probably a lot to do with the publisher and is out of their control, and many other aspects completely foreign to me. But still just seems odd.
dannybones64 Check this out - A Mike McCready book of his Polaroids ! And i wrote the foward to it ! Its a great document of his unique "family " . A true inside look of a real interesting journey. Anyone think that the book will be shipped and delivered to NYC in time for the June 7th event. If it isn't actually sent before May 30th I wonder if I would have it in time for the event or if they would have additional copies to purchase at said event.
