Are there band signed posters at the merch stands? I would guess you have to be there when the doors open to get one....?
going to edmonton show tomorrow night....
They do have signed band posters at merchandise stands, costs around $175 USD
Thanks.... so they have tubes or should I bring one?
No tubes at the arena. Call the arena and see if tubes are allowed or not.

Get there as soon as you can and you'll get one. If you can wait, usually the Tool website has posters for sale after a tour ends.

Got one no problemo! What a show, Danny is unreal to watch.
How much were they Canadian? Tubes? Im goin tomorrow night in Van, deciding if i should go early, not big on opener though.

I think it's specific to the venue. We have what's called "Ford Hall" which is outside the entry to the actual arena but still indoors, they had one there, and they had other set up inside the venue where they have Edmonton Oilers shops.
I actually had to go back twice, they had two posters a vertical one and and horizontal one (same image most have been posting), I liked the vertical better and it was cheaper, got back to my vehicle to put it away (I went to the stand outside the venue) and noticed it was for the Montreal show.
I went back to switch it, I assumed it was an error, but they were selling other venue posters on purpose (for a lesser price). You couldn't read the City from where you were standing so might not be a bad idea to ask if you see two different posters at the Van show. Other point, I made it through both times super quickly.
The signed posters were $175 and unsigned were $45 if I remember right.
Thanks mate. Did they have a couple signed ones at each merch place? Sweet for once getting a deal with the dollar!

Yeah I know right? It was a nice surprse.
yeah they seemed to have quite a few signed ones at each stand. I walked by one stand inside the venue after the show and they were sold out there, the one I bought from at the end still had some.
one thing I forgot to mention, they were all pretty banged up if that matters to you. $175, I ended up asking for one that was in decent shape, some had edgewear, corners dinged etc....
Heading out in the morning for a trip to the west coast and seeing Tool play at The Gorge. The weather looks great too! I was 3rd row dead centre for Boston Calling which was a cool experience. For this show I opted for the lawn to get the full light show perspective. Anyone else heading to Washington?

Trying not to read this thread to avoid setlist spoilers. Can someone do me a favour and PM me what time Tool has been coming on stage this tour? I got last minute tickets to Hamilton show tonight. In TO for work and got a good deal so why not!
PM'd
Thanks again! Saw the show in vancoiver tonight. Only difference in set from the Hammer was The Pot. That one of my favourites, but either the sound sucked or they sped the song up due to time constraints.
eirher way TOOL is a force to see! Don't think I need to see them twice on a tour again considering identical setlist minus one song
I just got back from Saint Paul and the show there. Had a fun time and did the VIP. I thought the VIP was worth it, but to each their own on that. I gave my spare ticket to someone who was down on their luck.
I noticed that the security was being really strict about the taking of pictures and videos, so they were out in full force monitoring all that. Show was good, Danny was on top of things. Had a fun time there.
I saw minimum three people get kicked out tonight for recording on their phone. No joke. inpulled out the phone for the last song and got tapped on the shoulder by security. I didnr get kicked out, but it shows you not to bother recording anything
Finally read up on the last three weeks comments on this thread. Didn't want to spoil the setlist surprise.
for those who've seen them this tour, what did you think of their 12 minute intermission then three song encore? I'd rather they just did a couple minute intermission/encore. The intermission was a buzz kill at both shows I saw this tour, but at least they kicked it in hard when they returned (vicarious one show then The Pot tonight).

Idk, I didn't mind getting to sit down for a few minutes. I didn't think it interrupted the flow all that much.
TBH I liked how they put a countdown clock on the screen.

The set list was pretty standard, but The Pot wasn't expected as much as it was hoped for. The Grudge I knew was coming and loved it.
Sound was bang on and our seats were good (lower bowl facing the stage). Picked myself up a signed poster because I'm an idiot. Overall... I couldn't be happier.
Crowd was really good as well responding to the band. There were quite a few morons escorted out by authorities. Some fools just don't know how to concert very well.
Awesome show last night in Vancouver! 6th time seeing them and they did not dissapoint. I was very happy to see the poster in red instead of the standard black!

Anyone happen to have a single for tomorrow at the Gorge? I've been searching high and low after being shut out, and the secondary markets are still asking $130 for GA.

Show was awesome but merch inventory sucked, sold out of everything below xl pretty much.

Love the red background on this. I may be suckered into buying one if they do something similar for Gorge tonight. Don't mind the parasites but the red background really makes it pop. Would look great in the same room I have my TOOL @ Red Rocks 2 night set displayed. TOOL @ Red Rocks and now The Gorge....hell yeah!!!

Yeah the Edmonton show was incredible, we had great seats too which was nice.
thought of you last night cause my wife saw the signed tool poster on the wall and had some comments that weren't overly positive.... haha oh well.
Lol
I was boasting about the signed red, Vancouver poster and wasn't receiving any positive vibes about it either. But I changed my strategy a bit: I feigned extreme enthusiasm- so much that she'd be heartless to kibosh the idea of it going up on the wall. I could tell she was resigned to the inevitable.
I'm getting it framed in UV protective, glare free glass next week. It's gonna cost me, but... to use your expression... oh well.
Hope the Gorge goers have a great time tonight. It would be so fun to be there right now. If I had one of those 'Click' remote controls and could fast forward 6 hours... I'd hop in my car, use the remote, and be in Wenatchee right now. Just been road warrioring too much these days. And there's more road trips in sight.

Hey, still looking for a GA for the Gorge? Got a single, wife decided not to go. Face of course....sending you a PM.
If Lukin66 passes, I have a single GA available for tonight at The Gorge....$75 face value. I'm in Kent and plan on leaving at about 1pm. PM me if interested.
Is it confirmed that no poster tubes allowed? How about small backpacks?
