    now that would be obscure
    Hugh Freaking Dillon is currently out of the office, returning sometime in the fall after a very restful summer exploring the Great Canadian Wilderness and beaches, listening to Pearl Jam, Headstones, Watchmen, Queens of the Stone Age, and many others.

    In my absence, please refer to the following for any reasoned debate on any given matter (please note this list is not exhaustive):

    @mrussel1 , @Go Beavers , @tbergs, @mickeyrat, @brianlux, @PJ_Soul, @The Juggler, @Gern Blansten

    I’ll take nautical disaster in Qc City.  Thank you very much.

    Ed would own those vocals with some improv à la Live Between Us in the end

    Maybe tonight in Quebec? Though hoping it'll happen in Ottawa.

    It's as close to Kingston as they're ever likely to get!

    This is my first time logging into this account in a decade. Just wanted to say how touching it was for EV to mention Gord Downie / The Final Show, a long time ago now… and register my vote for a Hip song in Ottawa (personally I love Wheat Kings, because I am a wandering prairie girl / Winnipegger). It was *so* heart warming to hear Ed talk about Gord on the day of the last Hip show in Kingston… but with that said I am / will be over the moon just to see them live again after a long wait.

    And also thank you for enduring the notoriously dull Ottawa crowd. We are reserved by nature but that’s on us - not a reflection of the talent before us.

    *Edit to flag that David Milgaard - the person Wheat Kings is about - died in May this year. He surrendered a lot of his life in to a broken justice system… but at least he was not executed, which would have been a strong possibility in the American court system*
