My biggest frustration with No Code is that I can't find a protective sleeve to fit it. Drives me insane.

Had this problem with the original, found the biggest polythene sleeve I had and stretched it for a while before putting the record in. It still stuck out the end a bit.
I used a regular sleeve and put it in "sideways" with the spine exposed until i can find one that fits. Keeps the dust out though.

No Code arrived in TN today. Has the slight warp that many have discussed. Not terrible, but not what one wants when getting it a week after release.

At this point, that would seriously piss me off. Still waiting for both.
1991- Hollywood Palladium, California with Temple of the Dog, Soundgarden, and Alice in Chains -RIP Magazine Show Oct. 6th
    1992- Lollapalooza, Irvine, California
    Nothing since then. I suck.
2016- Fenway Park, Boston - Both glorious nights
    2022- Oakland Night 2
    2024 Sacramento, CA

Shit dude that's fucked. I'll stop complaining about no code and yield now then.
hahaha the day after I complained about this i got my TMR and Annual Single (replacement due to first shipment lost in the mail).

Why would Canada Post be handling the mail for the Netherlands?

Just kidding....Newfoundland--is there really a better name for a province? I can just see it through this historical lens: "Sir..we have just set foot on this new land that you found...what shall we call it? NewFoundLand....obviously.

I can poke fun...my family is from PEI...
go eat your potato's PEI guy/gal...hehe I kid...I kid, hello from across the water!

    This sleeve works:

hmmm thanks. Not sure if I want 50 tho, I have like 100 of my typical ones left to use. Someone hook a brother up with a sleeve or two and I'll gladly pay postage
I bought lot like that once. Still have a lot of the oversized sleeves. I just keep them stored and when I buy a release like No Code... I use them. I will eventually use them.

I think so too. I have listened to each one once. But, they are different from the original. I have not decided which version(s) are my favorite.

Indeed. So who's the nerd?;) (I truly believe that we're all fellow nerds here). I would be surprised if someone who bothers to do this isn't on the boards.

Yeah, that is frustrating. I don't need a whole pack of oversized sleeves just for one album, so I guess I'm stuck with what I've got, which is a sleeve that is too small, with the album crammed in there with one side sticking out of it. And I have to fight to get the album in and out, lol..... Well if anyone has just one extra oversized sleeve for it, it would be awesome if you could mail it to me! I'd pay some kind of amount for it of course. :)

You could always ask your local shop next time you're in if they have an extra to spare. My shop has obliged me in the past.

  • My No Code arrived yesterday, and of course the mail carrier left it on my hot porch, where it's about 100 degrees! By some miracle, it came out unscathed, which I am very grateful for!! Can't wait to listen, and love the polaroids!

Right below the video on the product page, there is a link that says "Get A Free Sample." You can order singles, just have to pay for shipping. I usually wait til I need to order a few things and then throw a few samples of things I may need. Also, when you order, put a special note in requesting not to put product labels directly on the samples.

EDIT: Actually, I have 5 of them right now. I'll PM you for your address and send you one out tomorrow.

the sleeves I use just barely fit my original press and the reissue. It's a bit of a stretch though. However I have a good chunk of vinyl that is oversized like this, and I usually just use 2 sleeves. If it's gate fold, put 1 sleeve on the front cover, and another sleeve for the back. Does the job and saves you from buying a huge pack.
    here for the music...
