Still waiting for D Danger to sell his ... and would like Mike King's Decemberists poster too ...
Why do the Decemberists have THE best posters?
That King Decemberists print is awesome. Been in my ISO for a while now (pretty much ever since it sold out from Mike himself). I love King in general. In my top 5 for sure.
Have you ever listened to the Decemberists? It's quite obvious why they have the best posters. Every song is a vivid and very imaginable story.
As for the most recent AF tube, I'm glad it didn't come flat. However, there was no buffer between the posters and the end of the tube and the edge of my West Coast print is completely ruined. I sent an email, but I'm not optimistic.

Indeed, I have listened to the Decemebrists, and like them quite a bit ... seeing them back to back shows here in SF the two days following Thanksgiving, should be great. Agree on your point about their imagry in their songs .... some people like it (like me) ... some people find it nerdy/kitchy and hate it.
Sorrry about your AF posters ... would have been nice to have some kraft paper in there ... but, I guess I got lucky.
I think they may have more posters left ... they "sold out" of the west coast prints from the first leg ... then, sure enough, there are more avaialbe now ... they print run on it was over 700 ... I bet they are holding some back.

What does it mean to use matting? Its a term used when framing. I have an idea of what it is, but directly translated to norwegian, the term 'matting' in a framing context doesnt make much sense. Can someone explain to me what this is?

from the center out you have
the poster
a light brown/orangy mat
then a brown/reddish mat
then a white mat

Yeah, thats what I thought too. I have trouble immagining it being something else. The frame job for that vic was awsome by the way! Yours?
You know, my moms uncle past away last year and left behind a small workshop with all the equippment needed to start a glass/framing service. When I see work like that, I just wanna pick up his equippment and start learning...
Someone mentioned they thought that it would be Vic on Vinyl, which makes sense to me.
wow, that is very interesting. How much was the Beneroya Vinyl originally? I know that thing is always selling for lots of cream on Ebay. I missed that sale. As for the Vic boot, I have a decent copy of it on mp3, I am sure the vinyl's quality would be great and worth picking up. Thanks for the info.

Keep in mind, its pure speculation, but for some reason it still makes sense to me.
