We were actually really worried this would be their last tour also (though Eddie did say he'd see us in 2-3 years at Adelaide 2...)

If you think about it... just before they released Avocado - they did release a Best Of album, which is a first for them... And then during the tour - they didn't play a lot off the new album... heaps of old faithfuls and rare classics...

As horrible the thought is... perhaps this IS the last we've seen of them?! :(
When you're curious, you find lots of interesting things to do...

  • Australia has now entered PJPTSS--usually happens after seeing PJ in concert, the instant fear of never seeing them live again.

    Suggestions:
    -Listen to boots
-Begin saving for future shows, including airfare/hotel

Yeah he told us that too... but there are so many other factors saying nope - this is the last hurrah...

Maybe that's why there were 2 Adelaide shows (it's the first time a double was in SA)... to make sure everyone got a chance to see them before it was too late...

How much of a nasty thought is it though?!

It's called being positive. Plus, if we all keep loving them to bits like we have for so many years, they will never want to break up ... trust me. :)

They'll keep on playing forever. I've never seen a band that enjoyed playing live so much, they can't, and won't stop. It's their lives. Of course, having kids change everything in your life (father of a 21-month old boy here), but they wouldn't be the first band with kids touring.

That said, the 2006 tour was long, with many different countries and long travels, so I guess they will take a break for a while now. Time to release the Avocado outtakes? :D

I don't think that this was the last tour. After months like that, with fans like us the band at least would announce it officially if they would stop doing pj...which sounds ridiculous! Eddie said lots of things. In Zagreb he said they'll be back next year. :) So come on. Stop doing conspiracy theories and bringing each other down!!!

and the tour is not even over yet! :D we should give them a little time to rest!

I was at the Perth show and he said " see you in a couple of years, yeah?" So I will believe ol' ed, he hasnt let me down yet!

  • Ed named the Newcastle show the Tri-Annual Mark Richards Invitational (or something like that). Seeing as they had never played here before, I took it to mean they were coming back in around 3 years.
