Am I the only one that doesn't like the Ken Taylor Wrigley? I mean, if you like highly detailed drawings of eagles, then it's a great print. It's just that it has absolutely not one single thing to do with Wrigley or Chicago (other than the eagle holding a baseball bat..which just makes it even more odd). If they played Nationals Stadium or Citizens Bank Park, sure. But for Wrigley, it just doesn't make sense.
I don't like it either, but I bet it looks really good in person, Ken's posters always has great details. My favourites are 1) Faile 2) Klausen 3) Feldman
To me it looks like the bat goes right through the eagle's body. ????

Anyone know if these are signed or numbered?
Just numbered... Ken lives in Australia and the posters are printed in the US. To have the posters shipped over for him to sign... and then returned to the US would make them pretty expensive!

I figured PJ's last shows before the election might have been Taylor's inspiration. Or maybe it's just a play on America's pasttime. Eagle and baseball do say America.
I think it's a really sharp poster
That's a good point. And as derbydave mentioned, I actually hadn't noticed the baseball diamond.
I guess my thing is, in Wrigley '13 & Fenway '16 all the posters were baseball or city themed. Then we have Wrigley '16 where we have a giant eagle and plague doctors. I just think those two could be interchangeable with any PJ show, nothing really makes them special to the Wrigley shows.
Was there a Cliver variant? If so, can someone please post a pic of the original and variant? Thanks!
Yes, there was a variant, but the only difference on the variant is the use of gold ink. I received mine a couple of days ago and the difference is not obvious - but then I don't have a show version to do a side by side.

This is disappointing to me, I might sell my variant now. Love this print, but got one at the show was hoping the variant would be more than slightly different.

Agree, that is an extremely subtle difference.
