remember when concerts were just about the music and the only line you stood in was to get a beer?

For most concerts, it is. But for PJ, those days are long gone.

Although at Fenway, the longest line I waited in was to get a beer, go to the bathroom, and leave the stadium.

Just sad that if I wanted to pop over on Saturday before I go to my room to grab one poster and a shirt I would have to dedicate my day to it. These shows lately have lost the mystery to them

The last show in Denver was a sausage fest but we still used the proper facilities. Buncha savages in that town.

A duffel bag. A brilliant idea. Makes it much easier to carry all of the merch that you could not stop your self from buying. Wish they'd have had them at Fenway. The guy in front of me who dropped $459 in merch would have liked one....

So what's the deal with no lining up early before 8am?
Legit or not and if it's true how do they stop it?

I would agree with your point if the shows weren't so awesome. Some people obsess over the merch, but the actual shows are still all about the music.

they cant stop it... they don't have any real authority to tell someone where not to stand... i think they just put that to slow it down a little

There can be multiple lines since no fan club sanctioned line before 9 day of show. Everyone make your own line!

  • The duffel bag was clearly meant to be sold at Fenway as well since it says Boston and Chicago on it. Disappointed it wasn't sold at Fenway because I would've bought it in a heartbeat since my old Ten Club duffel bag is starting to show its age a little bit lol

For those of you in Chicago, look up!

    http://www.cityofchicago.org/city/en/depts/dca/supp_info/chicago_air_and_watershow.html

Air & Water show is a spectacular event. Pro-tip: watch from the bar at The Signature Lounge at the 96th floor of the John Hancock. Avoid the crowds and have a classy cocktail.
