Awesome show last night. 59 sound on the piano sounded great! He's the best.
Agreed. I went with the wife. Great time! Love seeing Fallon and Gaslight. Can’t wait for DC now!

Really good show last night in Philly. Heavy on the new album, but I really enjoy it so I was pleased to hear them. I think it was about 8 Sleepwalkers, 4 THC, 3 Painkillers, 3 covers, and 59 sound on keys.
His banter was fun, very philly oriented, with Eagles shout outs and all!
On at 930 off just after 11. His voice sounded a bit strained, especially early on. Makes sense tho, he has been on the road a ton and back to back shows all over. Really enjoyable show, hope to see hum again soon. Catch him this tour if you can.
Solo acoustic tour just started. The setlist from last night looked pretty great...a few gaslight songs in there. He played 'She Loves You' which is one of my favorite TGA songs...would love to hear that one acoustic. Going to see him next week...looking forward to it.
I am going to see the acoustic show on Saturday. I took a quick look at the setlist from the 1st show and was disappointed that it was only 9 songs? Apparently the next show was like 12-13 which I guess is a little better. I'll update after the show.

I thought I saw around 16-17 songs from the 2nd show. Apparently he did a ton of talking/rambling on in between songs.

The things I’ve seen have had pics of the setlists from dimestoresaints but each show he has apparently cut 3-5 songs so it is deceiving. I also heard he talks A LOT

He did advertise this tour at least when it was announced as “songs and conversations”. That isn’t that clear from the ads though since.
I’ve said this before and I’m a HUGE Brian and Gaslight fan but I don’t understand the talking thing. His regular solo shows have turned into talk fests. And while he’s gotten better and funnier at it it’s often rambling and awkward. I’m also someone who often doesn’t mind when artists have a few speeches during sets.
My point is he’s doing a “storytellers” tour which is cool but he’s kind of been doing that already. And I think most people going aren’t really aware of that.
He’s playing in his hometown Red Bank tonight and the show isn’t even sold out. It’s 3 miles from me and unless I get a last minute whim I’m not going. I hope he continues to make solo records but after seeing TGA this summer, it’s time to get the band back together for good
Show last night in DC was great. He does talk a lot, tells a lot of stories, engages with the crowd. Think he played about 14 songs over about 2 hours. Was a lot of fun seeing him stripped down like that. Crowd was into it. And as he put it last night, he could be like Bob Dylan and just play and not say a word to the audience, but that is not him.
...got a mind full of questions and a teacher in my soul...
There's some talking that stands out more because it's an acoustic show but the recording quality is very good. Saw he's currently writing album 3 as well now.

How was it?
it was good. I'm not too familiar with his solo stuff though (only have the Painkillers album). I wasn't really even aware he had a new album coming out. Played a mixture of stuff. Forgot about Horrible Crowes (which i am also not familiar with) which he played a few stuff from them. Did pick up his upcoming album, Local Honey, at the show. Apparently only played 2 songs off that though.

$25. Dont go to ebay!! Flippers are selling this there. Buy directly from the artist at the link above.
Like most, I do hope TGA continues some day, but his solo stuff has been excellent and as long as his output continues in some form, I’ll be happy.

If anyone has an extra ticket please let me know. Thanks
Just a headsup. Ticketfly just put up tickets for Brian on 12/21 at Crossroads in Garwood NJ. Just scored two tixs!!
