    Definitely more religious music than holiday. That never ending version of "Amazing Grace" was just plain terrible. A beautiful song stripped of any and all emotion just flatness as far as the eye can see. TGA must be revived. The solo stuff has been steadily declining in quality.

    I'm a big Brian Fallon fan but the new album does nothing for me.  I hope we can get some new original music soon similar to his first 2 solo albums.  

    Obviously, my wish would be to get TGS back together and have new music from them.

    I really like that Horrible Crowes album. The rest of his solo stuff doesn't really hit me like TGA does. If you can track down his 2015 Newport Folk Fest solo set, that's something I'd highly recommend.

    has Brian’s tour started? I have tickets for 1/29. wondering if he is doing mellow stuff or more hard stuff since he has a pretty punk band, the dirty nil, opening.

    Not sure if it started yet....it keeps getting delayed.  No clue what to expect from this tour but if it's anything like Local Honey and whatever the hell that christmas album was, that will be a hard pass from me.

    That Christmas album got sent back quickly…

    I really enjoyed Local Honey; especially tracks 2,4 and 7.

    Loved Local Honey and all of his solo records. The Xmas one was…not good. Supposed to see him on 2/11.

    Yeah I didn't dislike Local Honey but just a little too mellow for me with every song a slow ballad.  Loved his first 2 solo albums....will be interesting to see which direction he goes in the future.  Just get Gaslight back together already!!

    He's playing near me tonight in Wilmington, Delaware. Thinking about going. Tix are reasonable. I do have to be at work at like 3:30 in the morning though. Does he have a new solo album out? Last album I have of his was the one from a few years ago, Local Honey (?).

    I saw a recent video of him and wow i barely recognized him. Looks like he put on some weight.
