    I think it would totally suck to be a semi-normal candidate like John Kasich and be losing to Cruz and Trump. I'd be looking in the mirror every day wondering what the fuck?

    The Republican party is completely off the rail. Cruz is the one who took them there, and Trump dragged them over.

    A dirty little secret - sometimes I buy the Enquirer because it makes me laugh. So I knew the Enquirer was very pro-Trump, but I didn't know until this Cruz stuff came out that the editor/publisher/whoever is a close friend of Trump's. The anti-Hillary stuff is really terrible in the Enquirer. Lesbian affairs, she has cancer, makes vicious fun of her looks, etc.

    I bought it today so I'll read the Cruz article tonight and offer my insight.

    Can see him doing well going forward. Hope Trump chills the fk out and goes back to his playbook and stop talking about women or religion. Well cept bashing the Muslims.

    Cruz scares the shit out of me and I'm not even American. He's worse than Trump because his chances at winning would be higher. I don't think he could win, but it's not completely inconceivable like it is with Trump... Too many Americans don't take the heinous prospect of strongly pairing religion and politics seriously enough IMO. That's why there is already way too much of that going on in the US.

    I probably shouldn't have included the laughing emoji, but I am so exasperated that I feel like I'm in some sort of twilight zone. It is hard to fathom that someone this rabid and polarizing could represent one of the two major parties here. And yet the other representative of the party is every bit as polarizing. I find Cruz terrifying, and would rather see President Trump than President Cruz any day of the week (if I had a gun pointed at my head and was forced to choose). At least Trump isn't some wacko Christian jihadi. He's just a douchebag, racist. Both are bigots - but one does it in the name of his god.

    I hope Cruz does get caught with a meth-addicted, male prostitute soon so that we can be done with him.
