Just had a very open and successful presidential election. Now professional protesters, incited by the media, are protesting. Very unfair!

They were bused in to Austin
The radlib hate is such a depth of unknown fathomless.
And the conservatives remain as cuddly as a litter of golden retriever puppies.
As golden as President-elect Trumps hair.
    Right, orangutan golden.
This is a good example of what the left does. THey will not admit that they have the fringe in their base that will protest and create destruction just like they believe the right does. If they do believe they won't say so but just use the childish excuse that conservatives do it too and then as we see in this thread just turn to sarcasm and name calling. Because of this the left stand on their soapbox and preach down to everyone else but can't understand why they don't listen because everyone else can see right through their holier than thou talk. Michael Moore is an exception as he predicted a Trump victory a long time ago.
Every group has fringe members. There, I just said it.
I'm not a fringe member, jesus. Childish, yes. Smart ass, hopefully. Fringe member, I don't think so.
I don't think Beavers meant you personally.

Ha. Even when trying to admit it you make a backdoor excuse and judgment of others (i.e., every group has fringe member).
    The left has fringe members.

wait now the election was open? for months Trump told us it was rigged. was he lying or just feeding the sheep to follow him?
I thought he stated the primaries were rigged? If he claimed the election was rigged before it election day than he can see into the future or is unfit to be president.
huh? he said the system was rigged for month and months. come on now. and he IS unfit to be President but our democracy gives everyone a chance to vote their choice and 60 million people decided to ignore that and elect him anyway. despite what those (in my opinion idiot) protesters say he is our president-elect. let's hope he governs better than he ran his casinos.
Okay...well saying the system is rigged is very different than saying the election was rigged.
He was saying the election was rigged before we even voted back in October. Now he's just saying the system is rigged.
    Okay...if you say so
How did you miss it? Several weeks of campaign speeches about it.
Could it be that you were too wrapped up,in your Clinton witch hunt to notice there was another candidate?
I was going to post the links, but figured anyone could google it themselves without getting in to which news source was legitimate enough.
Every link you post where trump says the election is or will be rigged, I'll donate $1000 to pj charity of your choice.

    http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2016/aug/15/donald-trump/donald-trumps-baseless-claims-about-election-being/

"Nov. 8, we'd better be careful, because that election is going to be rigged," he said at an Aug. 1 rally in Columbus, Ohio. "People are going to walk in and they're going to vote 10 times, maybe, who knows?"

"I know last time, you had precincts where there were practically nobody voting for the Republican (Mitt Romney)," he said to Fox News’ Sean Hannity that same night. "I’m telling you, Nov. 8, we better be careful because that election is going to be rigged and I hope the Republicans are watching closely, or it’s going to be taken away from us."

I apologize. I've watched too much Bill Maher. By the way, why do I always seem to be called out for this, do guys ever get called out for this?
I don't think you are a fringe member, but for weeks prior to the election all we hear from the media is "Will Donald respect the election", "Will Trump supporters turn to violence if he loses", etc.... when the issue is real for both parties. So if you progressives are trying to figure out why non-progressives didn't vote for Hillary, you need to understand that the one-sided news media is a huge turnoff to a lot of the population because it talks down to them when they know the progressives do the same thing. They turn the channel or just get more frustrated. We need the media to report both sides. For example, the media refers to Trump supporters as racists, but I do not recall any MSM that reports what the cost to the country is for illegal immigration, how that cost could instead be used for poor citizens of this country (i.e., fix the problem in the US and then help others) or report any reason at all why Trump supporters might want strong borders other than labeling them as racist. No one calls the person on the plane who puts his/her oxygen mask on first before assisting others hateful, self-centered, etc.... They want both people to survive, but at the end of the day there is disagreement on how to do it that isn't from a place of hate or bigotry (except for the fringe).

My take is the in the primary, the media paved the path for him with over indulging in the circus. Itwas interesting watching the gradual progression as they realized they stepped in it and had to play it straight when he got the nom. And speaking of immigrants, are people aware that the actual "problem" has always been happening? And that trump manipulated millions by getting them to think this is an important campaign issue. It's the typical republican trick to create an enemy every election in order to manipulate the fearful base. I mean, if they didn't things are getting worse, what would they do?

You can start with Conservation International since Trump thinks that climate change is a hoax. It's going to get more difficult to preserve when the regulations and support are pulled.

True to an extent, but any president has to compromise once in office because they have to satisfy both sides of the fence.

The difference this time, is that the whole world now sees that we don't value integrity and you can outright lie or make false statements. That is unfortunate. It does not improve the image of the country or reputation.

You mention that the immigration "problem" has always been happening. Well, that is a prime example of why people went with the perceived change candidate, Trump. I doubt that 20% of those who voted for him actually liked his rhetoric, but they were glad someone finally said something about what they think is a problem.

I apologize. I've watched too much Bill Maher. By the way, why do I always seem to be called out for this, do guys ever get called out for this?

And how did they come to "think" it was a problem? They were told it was a problem, and the fearful grasped on to it. Conservatives live in a fear driven world, and they need something to feed this. This election it was immigrants. Hey, maybe I'm wrong. Maybe this illegal immigration thing is deserving of this attention and needs the several hundred of billions trump wants to throw at it, along with an expanded government. Maybe someone has actually gathered facts about this problem. Like how many billions illegals cost, vs. how many billion of $ they contribute. Crime rate of illegals vs. us wholesome white folks? Does anyone have that link?

Because Obama wasn't doing anything? More deported than any other president. Over 2.5 million.
    It's a hopeless situation...

There's probably no link because the so called problem was called a problem without factual merit. But all the trump voters followed right along, doing what they're told.

Pence taking over transition team from Christie...interesting. I wonder if Pence pushed Christie out due to the bridge issue.

Pence just got on a plane to go to the Island of Misfit Republicans to do some recruiting.
