I think Kayne is supposed to be one of the headliners. He has a Portland show that leaked out around the time of the fest, but I likely wouldn't go if Pearl Jam plays. Radiohead and LCD Soundsystem would get me there though, I've been eyeing this up the last two years.

Such a gorgeous location for a festival. Nothing like any of the others I've been to. It's super clean with plenty of areas to escape.

    Crazy awesome setting!

Surrounded by mountains both from nature and female alike....

I will pay for Radiohead and get all the other bands for free!
Havent seen them since 2002 so I can justify this.

    Bring on the List!

weird to see what appears to be a majority of people on this board hoping for Radiohead announcement over PJ. I'd really rather not see PJ in a festival setting.
Sucks the announcement got pushed back again, wtf? Hope they're not in financial trouble due to the dollar - assume that's what sunk Squamish. Would really suck for both festivals to fizzle. When I went to Squamish I stayed in a vrbo on Blackcomb for dirt cheap, would gladly do that again. Won't make the mistake of coming into Whistler via Pemberton from the north again, tho....my god did I regret taking that f'n goat trail.
Squamish was pretty darn picturesque....have only seen pics of Pemberton, but it looks to be an even nicer setting.

Yeah! So stoked to call it! Was hoping to see them in this gorgeous setting! Booked my accommodation months ago. This brings the tally to (a kind of embarrassing) 14 Pearl Jam shows this year, but whatever, this is going to be the best year of music ever!!!

Oh c'mon just go during J. Cole or get the APs later :)

I feel you tho, part of me wanted Radiohead/LCD, but seeing PJ in that setting will be so ideal.

This just means I'm going to have to go to Lollapalooza on the way to Fenway!

    Tough to say.
There are good bands but I've seen most of them if not all lol

London Souls or Die Antweerp will be interesting.
    I wanted better undercard bands.
    Nathanial Ratileff or Shakey Graves.

I'll make due but kinda disappointed....

I agree, other than Wolf Parade which I'm really excited about (they're coming through Seattle in Aug but we'll be at Fenway then, so thought I was going to miss them), there's not a lot I haven't seen and/or that I want to see. Not a lot in the edgy up and coming small print.

How much were founder's tickets this year? I'm still kicking myself for not getting in on that.

I like the way PJ is billed above everyone else, maybe they'll play every night :)

This summer keeps getting more expensive! lol. Spent a bunch of money on Wrigley, then GNR in Seattle, but this is so close.... ugh. Do we know which night PJ is playing? Saturday would be ever more tempting as it's close enough I wouldn't need to burn a Vacation day.

I don't think I'd want to go to the whole festival though.. hopefully we find out who plays what night, and if single day tickets become available.

Zod, I think if we looked at our visa statements, they would be pretty similar!

Mine craziness started with just one goal...setting up that east cost tour of Lexington to Toronto. It then expanded to consider ONE of the ballparks, then to splurging for both ballparks, then getting tickets to Radiohead at a small LA theatre the day after Fenway 2, then GnR, and now this! Heck I will likely chuck in Lollapalooza or Oshega on the way to Fenway too.

...and then just at that moment they'll announce PJ25 at the Gorge, lol

I'm starting to feel like an addict.

Luckily I saved $ by not going to hardly any shows last year, but at this rate I'm going to have to switch to eating Mr. Noodles for breakfast/lunch/dinner.

If they announced a Gorge show I don't think I'd want to have Pemberton tickets... it's getting harder and harder to justify the expenses. After some comments people posted from Jeff, I didn't think they were going to do much for West Coast Dates.... Now they're playing Colorado and BC and the Gorge is right in the middle.. ugh. Then again they didn't play Seattle at all during PJ20, so the band is often unpredictable when it comes to Seattle area shows.

Blurg. I hate summer festivals, especially in the interior. It's just way too hot for my liking - i am a huge wuss when it comes to hot weather. It's cool they're playing it and all, and i'm sure many wouod enjoy this, but this doesn't really turn my crank personally (plus, i really can't stand hip hop). Might go up just for PJ's set, might not.... i hope they tack on a regular show in Vancouver, lol.
