oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

    Done that before haha!

The SECC is a bit of a shed but it would do. Pearl Jam in the Barrowlands would be the best thing since sliced bread..possibly even better than that. Major Party aftwerwards in Glasgow eh Dunk? Show everyone how its done!!

    Russia? Bring it on!!!

what's this talk of you and Neil going backstage? where did that happen? Why didn't I hear the details?
  • Hehe, well you know...

Neil and I sort of know Mike, Jeff and Stone on a more personal level. Nothing much, they just signal to us at the shows etc

    Muahahahahahaha

Actually, they must have told Ed about us too coz he joined in on the act. He passed by me and my brother in Berlin (as did all the band) and waved to me.

  • I would love them to play Manchester so for once I wouldn't have to travel to far to see them.

I am not getting my hopes up though.
    Astoria 20/04/06, Leeds 25/08/06, Prague 22/09/06, Wembley 18/06/07,
    Dusseldorf 21/06/07, Manchester 17/08/09, London 18/08/09, LA 06/10/09, LA 07/10/09.

Ain't gonna be any middle anymore.
  • i'm telling you norwich is a shoe in, ha ha, or at the very least great yarmouth.

  • still not convincved i dont think they see themselves as being that popular...in any of the countries mentioned..... sad to say but it does sound to me like a bit too much of wishfull thinking!
don't mean to be all pesimistic but it was 6 years?!
and Paris didnt sell out and that was only a few thousand! i'd be very very supprised if they did a uk tour infact i'd say on their behalf it would be a bit mad! dont et me wrong i loved every gig i saw but you gotta face facts its more likely to be a canadien or S american tour than UK

though the idea of playing Antarctica does strike a really ...fuck you ticket master i'm playing to the penguins..... chord with me
maybe an underwater gig? a duet between eddy and the little mermaid on chloe is a dancer/crown of thorns or maybe someday at christmas! aparently shes a real rock chick when she lets her hair down!
hmmm another idea for a thread -which fictional character would you most like to see the band duet with ...
anyways ive drunk too much snake bite i'm off to bed.....
the leaders of the free world are just little boys throwing stones

Dublin sold out in minutes..the Uk would sell out, certainly London *2 without a problem...don't base the sells on the french gigs..that's really not a reference...the welcome they got in Ireland and Reading was on another planet than Paris!
And judging by the number of poles that traveled in Europe to see them, i'd think they'd have no problem there either!

ahhhh what do you know... you live in 3 different places for a start... make your mind up :D

the French are so blase about stuff... probably to busy organising a strike to actually attend the gig ;)

Dublin sold out in minutes, and the UK only had 2 festival appearances... the UK is the biggest fanbase (fan club members wise) outside of North America... so it would seem 'right' if they came back next year to give something back to the 'fans'... its been 6 years since they last came here and the 2 festival shows dont count... they just dont

i would like to think that the band were blown away by the welcome they got at every european concert. that in itself should prompt a quick return to our shores.

It would be easier for him to do that as it will sort so many peoples presents out at once, less chimneys to navigate.

I'm with you on that 1, short trip into town on the trian, 1 or 2 drinks before and after round the printworks, then Littleborough taxi to bring me home, what a good night out.
