Great record! Wish I didn't already have the black copy, because I would prefer the purple one, but I don't need two copies of this, so I will pass.

A lot of reasonable approaches to vinyl purchasing in this thread. Is something going on?

I'm getting it since I'm a sucker for colored vinyl. I am also hoping that MAYBE, this version is a bit more dynamic than the black vinyl, which I found flat.

Was excited to see new vinyl. Was bummed that it was already something they've released. Color means jack shit to me, so pass.

Hopefully next month they can release another color of Ten.

I would be willing to bet its from the same stampers and same mastering....so I would bet it will sound just as bad. :disappointed:

It wasn't really the vinyl though? I thought it was the way it was mixed. The CD sounds similar. I doubt they'd remastered it for another pressing?

It's one of those things. I already have a copy, don't really need a 2nd copy, but if becomes a rare collectable I regret not having one... ugh.

See I thought the cd sounded better. Maybe I was imagining or hoping, but when we did the full show for the blu ray, we used the CD and I thought it had a bit more pop.

I agree, that I thought the CD sounded better. Still mastered poorly, but without surface noise.

Almost $400 on concert tickets and over $1200 on airfare. I think I'm good not buying another copy of this record.

There's already two 2017 Pearl Jam Euro Facebook Groups started. I guess they know something we don't know. As in a Euro Tour happening .. in 2017.
