    In the past it meant no opening band and an earlier start time.

    An evening with Pearl Jam is fine with me. I was hoping that maybe My Morning Jacket would open but they are playing a show in OK on 4/27 so it was unlikely.

    The Moline show in 2014 was an evening with PJ and they played No Code in its entirety. Just saying.

    The last 3 shows I've been to have been "An Evening With Pearl Jam". That's the way I prefer it, but there hasn't been anything unique about them.

    Staying at the Hilton downtown, next door to the Rupp. My sister will be with us to watch my daughter while my wife, a couple friends and I go to the show. Anything nearby, preferably within walking distance or a short drive for my 3 1/2 year old daughter to do during the day and at night? We are going to the KY Hose Park the next day. My wife is a horse person so there is no avoiding that.

    Second that one...I think because its a Tuesday they are doing it that way, I have a feeling this show is going to be special

    Did anyone else notice that ticketmaster lists the Lexington show titled as "An Evening with Pearl Jam" while the other events just say "Pearl Jam?" Isn't this what they titled the Wrigley show a couple years back? Probably nothing special, just thought it was odd.

    Yeah, that is quite interesting. I guess it's confirmed then that Lexington will have no opener!

    I've seen people from most of the surrounding Midwest states coming to the show. Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Missouri, Wisconsin. This will be truly be a kick ass Midwest show!

    Yep, thinking that's what they did...the past few tours have sold pretty well. I believe most of the shows in 13/14 had behind the stage seating that was close to full.

    (is it April yet ?)
