I only tried twice (1 for Wrigley and 1 for Fenway) and was accepted both times. Did you put a message to the host introducing yourself and why you are traveling with your request? I had some messaging back and forth with both of mine before it was confirmed.

i use airbnb all the time in chicago... two things - 1. you're only staying for 24 hours. most of these people hosting on airbnb know that it is a weekend long event and will hold out for multiple night stays. 2. it is 6 months away. i've had several airbnb requests denied in the past because the owner didn't want to commit that far out. if you can extend your stay, you may have better luck. otherwise, try closer to the shows...

I just booked a 2 bedroom single level home for 150$ Canadian a night for 3 nights in Boston. It is a 2 minute walk to the B line. We are traveling with 2 kids and my mother in law so the space is going to be much needed, Thanks for the discount and link! I had no idea this site even existed.
