    Hello Dunat!

München Ticket is probably the most used ticket agency in Munich. They are very safe and reliable. You should have no problems with your tickets (and very nice tickets they are too!). They even send out emails/call when shows are cancelled or postphoned! I got mine from them too.

As to the changing of seats... if you had better seats than someone else, would you swap them for theirs???!!!

    Bob

    Heheh, I guess not:)

But thanks for the answer, they seemed really ok through the phone an everything...Plus I think I got quite good section, S2, 7th row..they said thats the best from what is left...well...do you have any experience in that, should I be happy with this section?? I mean, don't get me wrong, I am already happy just to have chance to go see PJ...

    Thanks again

dunat, here you can see, what it's like to sit on S2. Quite nice, but i'd prefer a bit more on the right. although, very nice seat.

I know I know, I checked, but I wanted to know from first hand, from someone who has already been to Olympiahalle...I think its going to be great...I had quite the same view in Zagreb, only I was 1st row, hehe...and it was great...Hope to see you guys in Munchen...I'll probably wear PJ soccer jersey from 1998 tour again, lol (red and black with pearl jam and 98 sign in the back).

    German friends from Munich!

Can you please, give me some advice on where to stay?
I was thinking of Wombat's hostel (Senefelderstraße 1) , doesnt look
    too far from Olympiapark.
I'll be arriving June11, spending the night, then
the plan is to queue at Olympiapark as early as
    possible.

Is there a possibilty to leave my backpack inside the venue?
Prolly not a good idea, but I'll think of something...

I know the plans for the bus are probably not that advanced yet, but after the German show, there'll be a few of us with backpacks who need to get on the bus. Is there a cloakroom where we can drop off the bag for the show and pick up afterwards before we jump on the bus?

BARTEK? I know you're not in Munich but can you ask your friends? thanks so much for the help :D

    Argh!!

These past few days whenever I've checked online for Munich tix, there's been loads. I had to wait for money to go into my account and now that I tried to get my tix it says sold out!!!!!!!!!!!

Am I not meant to see Pearl Jam this summer? Don't I deserve it after being a fan for 14/15yrs???

Are they on-sale in Munich...as in in the stores? Could I get someone living in Munich to buy them for me?

    I'm losing a lot of hair..... ;)
if I keep holding out,.... will the light shine through?

Hmm....koka.de seems good - reasonable prices, but the option for non-German customers is to email credit card details. That seems v. risky to me.

I guess I'm just not meant to see PJ this year. Will have more money to spend on th house and getting married I suppose ;)

I posted this in the Euro ticket thread, but figured I would put it here too...

I'm looking for someone to trade me their Munich floor (GA) 10club tickets for Munich seated 10club tickets. Another kind 10clubber could not use his tickets, so he transfered them to me (I paid for them of course). Unfortunately, the tickets were for the seated section, not the floor which I did not know. Normally this would be a blessing for me, but I am going to the show with my brother and uncle. We would like to be next to eachother at the show, and the only way to ensure this would be for all of us to have floor tickets.
So basically, if anyone who has 10club floor tickets for Munich would prefer to be in the seated section, PM me. I don't know where the seats are, just like we never know, but the 10club said they were good seats. I don't think the 10club would have any problems transfering the tickets since they are the same price.
This would be for both tickets, sorry no extra tickets as of yet. PM me if interested. Thanks in advance.

Did 10C even sell seated tickets for Munich? So far as I know all Euro 10C tickets (except those for the package deal) are GA with early entry.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I was very surprised to find the tickets were seated tickets and I even emailed the 10club to make sure. They confirmed that they were for seated tickets. They also said "The seats will be located in the side section, closest to the stage with the best viewing option possible. Tickets will not be allocated by seniority." That is a direct quote from the email. So I am also a little confused.

Anyway, as you can see, I am in a little bit of a bind. It's certainly not the end of the world, I would just like for all three of us to stand together. I am also thinking these seats might be really good, so since I will be using one of my brother's floor seats, I don't even want to know where the seats are.

So in summary, I am also confused because I didn't think any seated tickets were sold. If anyone is interested in the trade, PM me. Thanks

This is an interesting development since it says on the 1oc site: "The ticket opportunity is for two (2) general admission tickets per show."

Hmm... I wouldn't be too happy to discover my tickets are for a seated section, despite the good view. They really should have specified that.

Also, how did you find out they were seated as the email I got for Munich is just a standard one, not mentioning location?

Marienplatz is just the town center. Walk around, look at shops etc.
Hofbrauhaus is close by and its interesting if you want to see a Bavarian beer house but it is also a tourist trap. The best beer you will find in Munich is Augestiner. they have a brewery on Landsbergerstrasse which does tours or there are loads of beer garden around the city where you can enjoy good beer and a relaxing afternoon.
Deutsches Museum is the largest technical museum in the world and you won't manage it all in one day. In fact they have a few different sites around Munich focusing on different things. However, nearly everything is in German.
Neuschwanstein is well impressive but it is also a fair distance away from Munich. You need a day trip for that.
Another thing worth checking out is the Andechs monastery a short distance outside Munich. its called the holy mountain and is widely considered as the best beer you can get. Very potent stuff though so beware.

    ...time to get excited.
I will be in Munich, too.

    and Irish Guy,
you gave great advices/ tips. :)

    May I add some more?
The area where the concert is taking place is a sight for its own.
The architecture and the Park (also the Petuelpark) are extremely stunning and nice.

The English Garden is a MUST - but you need to combine it with a visit in one of those BEERGARDENS.

And if you want to visit a castle, I would recommend Nymphenburg or Chiemsee (also built by King Ludwig II and also a bit further outside, but not so far as Neuschwarnstein).

Munich has also very great art museums -Alte Pinakothek, Lehnbachhaus und Neue Pinakothek and Best: Königsplatz!!!

And if you walk around the area of the Viktualienmarkt, I think you experience the heart of Munich.

    And last but not least:
Do not worry about the night life in Munich... its big and no wish is left open.

    ----
hope see some guys there :)

No one can trade a standing for a seated because for all anyone knows, all the tickets are standing. Did whoever you transfer the tickets from know they were seated? If so how did he manage to get seated tickets and why is this the only instance we've heard of this happening? Something doesn't add up here.

Seated Tenclub tickets for Munich- I do not know if it is true.

But I know that the Tenclub had seated Tenclub tickets in the travel package for Munich! Maybe they sold not all the travel packages, who were very expensive, and now some of these seats were sold without the travel package through the Tenclub- just a possibility.

Ok, I get it, you don't believe me. I don't know how to prove it to you other than to post the emails I got from the 10 club, which I posted in the thread I started.
EMAIL 1-The orginal confirmation of the ticket transfer:
    HI Al.

Your ticket order for 2 reserved seats to the Pearl Jam show in Munich has been processed. Your credit card will be charged $160 USD.

The seats will be located in the side section, closest to the stage with the best viewing option possible. Tickets will not be allocated by seniority.

Tickets will be collected at the box office on the day of the show only. More information about your tickets will be sent closer to the date of the show.

    Thanks
    10C Staff

EMAIL 2-A response to my question about them being seated tickets:
No ... They are not floor tickets. The tickets are for reserved seating, but the small amount of reserved seats we have for members will not be distributed by seniority. The tickets will be pre-determined when you pick them up at the box office.

    Thanks
    10C Staff

Those are the two emails confirming that the tickets that were transfered to me are in fact seated tickets. I know it is strange, and I thought it was too. I don't know how else to make people believe they are seated tickets. I just thought that there might be someone who prefers seated tickets because I actually do. I just can't use these because there are three of us going to the show. I am going to try to get in contact with the person who transfered them to me so maybe he/she can explain how they got them.

So, if anyone has interest in trading for them, PM me. If not, that's ok. I can forward the actual emails to anyone who is interested, and obviously the 10 club only could switch the tickets so you would know for sure that you have seats. I am not trying to rip anyone off here, just trying to get some floor tickets.
Thanks for reading again and sorry this is so long.

This may be where the seats came from. I will try to find this out.

Ok, I get it, you don't believe me. I don't know how to prove it to you other than to post the emails I got from the 10 club, which I posted in the thread I started.

It's not that I don't believe you. I'm just wondering what 10C pulled here and if they did so with people's knowledge. I'm taking someone's extra Munich and I think we'd both hate to find out day of that the ticket is seated. It sounds like there are only a slight few of these type of 10C tickets, but it still could suck for those people. And honestly, is there any reason they couldn't issue those tickets by seniority?

It just sounds like there's some real bullshit being pulled somewhere along the line.

If the tickets were bought through the ten club website you have GA tickets. Don't worry about it.
