What does everyone collect?

With everything out there: poster, vinyl, bootlegs, dog collars, sheep, stickers, variant this, variant that; I was just wondering where everyone's passion lies when collecting pj merch.

At one point I had around 75 posters, everything on vinyl, newspaper/magazine articles about the band, 15 concert t shirts and literally hundred of boots on tape and cd.
Lately I've scaled back and sold all my vinyl except for my benny, and only kept seven posters. I still have all of my bootlegs but unfortunately lost around 50 boots in a move.
So at this point in my life I guess my main collecting focus is bootlegs: I still need to try complete my silver pressed bootleg collection from 1995 and continue to acquire as many boots as possible from each tour.
I'll ride the wave where it takes me......

PJstatTracker makes it seem like I collect songs I've seen live
Then I like having audio from all the bootlegs (not necessarily the actual CDs though)
Then I will buy the occasional merch, but nothing crazy

So I guess I care most about the music

    PJ Xmas singles. That's it.

After years of collecting all kinds of stuff(as in non-PJ related), I gave it up a while ago and have been selling things off. I put the money and effort towards collecting vacations now.

Really just LPs (not just PJ - I've got about 170 albums so far). I have most of the PJ LPs, but still need OG Ten and Vs, and Soldier Field and the Benny. I usually buy the PJ side projects too, but not all of them. PJ or not, I only collect LPs that I know I'll spin. I kind of considered collecting the PJ singles too, and did start to, but I found that I never listened to them, so I gave all of those away and don't get them anymore (besides the holiday single with my membership, which I also generally give away). I do have a small number of posters, but I wouldn't call it collecting. If there is a PJ poster that I really love for some reason I'll snag it for future framing... but I haven't framed a single one yet, so I'll probably stop even doing that unless there is a poster that really blows my mind.
I guess you could say that I collect the EV zippos too, but I'm not sure there are enough of them for that to qualify. Plus, I only have 4 of them (and the Chrome EK one is trashed from use). I would like to get the two Aussie white ones, but they are just too hard to come by and too expensive at this point, so unless I get REALLY lucky, that collection will probably just stay what it is: half a collection. .

I have a good amount of posters, but that has slowed down somehow. LPs is where I spend most of my money nowadays.

Other than that, I collect musical live experiences and birds that I have never seen before (with my camera  )

I collected all the PJ studio/official vinyl releases. I flirted with posters for a brief while, and off and on official 00', 03' bootlegs. Nothing really anymore. Pouring money into things that matter more to me now. Like a new home, vacation for the family, paying off what debt we have remaining. Still fun and mildly irritating to come here and read about all the collecting you guys do though! : )

Myself, I truly love vinyl and posters the most. I do collect any and everything that I personally like that shows up anywhere but I started collecting pj vinyl and vinyl in general because of pj. I would go to tower records on the day before the release of a new pj album and they would stay open until midnight for the sale of the new album. I started doing this for the vitolagy album and saw the vinyl at the counter upon checkout when buying the cd. I asked if the lp had the same stuff as the cd just in bigger form and the employee told me yes. I thought that was pretty cool especially because the lp was cheaper:) so I would buy both. This started me on my vinyl journey and I love and appreciate vinyl and music in its pure form. I bought my first pj poster at memorial stadium Seattle 98' and that led to the poster journey. So posters and vinyl and I love getting my vinyl signed ,I only need yeild, lightning bolt, and pj20 signed by the band and that would complete my catalogue. I love those signed vinyls a little too much and look at them every day and listen to them as well. There is nothing wrong with opening your vinyl and spinning it. As long as you take care of it and have a nice table and nice needle you can not tell they have even been played. Anywho this is kinda nice talking about this stuff, if you have read this far thanks for listening:) , Pjdreamer, edward, pjfan4life:)

And of course I love collecting boots from shows I was at (53 shows and counting). Too bad I'm missing quite a few from 96, 98, 05, 06, pj20 and mia! I'm guessing global won't be released either.

I try to get the poster and official bootleg from every show I've been to. Have all the posters, but missing a few boots. I also like to get a tshirt or 2 from each tour I go to. City-specific stuff is cool, but I don't get crazy about it and wait in line for hours like a lot of people seem to do. If I really want something, I usually find a way to get it.
