I received a nice $35 charge from our lovely government for my recent merch order so i'm expecting another for my vinyl too....(bastards)
I find most everything under $100 goes uncharged by Canadian customs. The offical law is $20 but it's only once and a blue moon I get dinged. Assuming it crossed through to Canada Post. If it's processed by a courier it's always a crazy amount brokerage and taxes. Couriers make a mint from brokerage fees :(
My last two vaults have come through without charges. Same with the Mad Season vinyls. I don't think I've ever beeing dinged for brokerage on a single record shipment from the US (i did once back in the day from soundstage direct, but there was over $200 of records in that order... that's a big amount to have go unnoticed.. it happens, but usually Canada Customs/Post dings orders when they start getting that big).
wonder if there are any duties for parcels in CA? Any peeps in CA get theirs yet?

Wow, I just dug up my old mp3 copy from Basecamp and it sounds so much more dynamic than the FLAC copy I just bought. That truly makes me sad. Once again, I hope the vinyl sounds better.
There's also some dialog cut after Jeremy. The shoe speech "I love me, I love me, I love me...apparently they do love themselves more than Mudhoney" has been cut for the vault release.

Arrive in PA today. Shipment packaging was once again very well done by 10c.
Album packing was nice, individual sleeves slid inside the printed booklet sleeves, but i think I'll probably use the actual album sleeves instead. Only complaint (I'm OCD) is that the spine print faces the wrong direction compared to the last 2, and "Pearl Jam" is at the bottom, not top.
Only listened to side A so far but it sounds very good. Stone and Mikes guitars are clearly separated in each channel, and maybe its me but Mike sounds way lower in terms of volume.
All in all, another job well done IMO
(Also, I must add it is very frustrating not to get a digital download with a vinyl of this price, and then be told to buy it if we want it)

Album packing was nice, individual sleeves slid inside the printed booklet sleeves, but i think I'll probably use the actual album sleeves instead. Only complaint (I'm OCD) is that the spine print faces the wrong direction compared to the last 2, and "Pearl Jam" is at the bottom, not top.
Only listened to side A so far but it sounds very good. Stone and Mikes guitars are clearly separated in each channel, and maybe its me but Mike sounds way lower in terms of volume.
All in all, another job well done IMO
(Also, I must add it is very frustrating not to get a digital download with a vinyl of this price, and then be told to buy it if we want it)
