I think a new album but not new music ,a PJ25 release as such PJ20 offered a fair bit so I figure PJ 25 will be bigger as in a celebrative concert/tour opposed to a new release, either would be great

If we're talking non-studio albums, then my vote would be 100% yes (we already know we're getting Vault 5 at the very least), but I assumed we were just talking brand new stuff.

There was a long period where there were no shows recently, so I want to believe they were working on a new album! :)

Maybe a new greatest hits package or an official live release like PJ20 or Wrigley. I don't see a new studio album happening though.

Stray Cats was the most accepted tentative title for the album among here...

    I'm thinking '17

    Yep, thinking that's more realistic.

If these rumored Spring USA/CDN & Summer Europe shows are happening, then no there will not be a new album in 2016.

A Lost Dogs 2 album would be pretty freaking sweet though if they released that in '16.

There wil not be a new PJ album in 2016. So take advantage of this up coming tour while you can, after this they will break for a long period and we will be left in a dark drought time in our lives, maybe a couple years, with a few bones thrown our way to show their love and support for us fans who constantly want and wait…. There's been no indication of any work on an album. Only way it gets done + released in 2016 is if they lock themselves in a studio for a month or two, but that doesn't seem to be their style anymore. Mid to late '17 seems more possible to me.

Saturday night, Ed said "se you soon, see you next year", what if he means solo tour?

You haven't been to many concerts if you take empty words like that seriously. Ed has said that about a lot of places and in a lot of times. It doesn't mean anything.

I think the albums may be done and that the band is ready to disperse.
They are in geardown mode now.
One last tour of 2016 to end on a highnote.

The way albums are released has changed drastically... no more 6 month build up... I think when it comes, it will come quickly

tour... rumored stadium shows... rock & roll hall of fame... 2016 seems busy and a great time for some new music and a great time to sell records

    It wouldn't shock me
