Hey butterball. You don’t get to decide how people protest. It’s not up to you.

Again with the main steam media critics... this certainly smells like CBC (state run media) being critical of our Liberal PM.  Call me crazy... but that's what I'm seeing here. And I personally like it.  I think it shows honesty and integrity.

2016 - present ...  how often did Fox News for example agree with Trump on a Monday, and then disagree with him on a Thursday? It just didn't happen. They would make excuses, they would spin, they would manipulate.  It was so bad, that he basically could do no wrong in their eyes and that's what they fed the public.

The Sarnia mayor is calling the truckers economic terrorist. This is the same mayor that was almost moved out of city hall because of bullying. The bully is government.

Brash or bully? Meet Sarnia's locked-out 'Mayor Mike'

Another hypocrite but the for some odd reason people like to be lead by dolts…

Indeed I am.  I honestly wish he would just accept responsibility for being a doosh at the beginning as the reporter asked.  He's bang on about everything else.... and his message about ending this is both honest and correct.    He does not want to remove these people. He wants them to leave on their own. As they should.

I think he basically summed up the last commons question period (which was a mess) into this press conference.  But yes, it seemed off that he plugged that into this.  I know some Conservative members were asking and commenting about Ukraine... one in particular trying to shame Trudeau for not giving Ukraine the weapons they were apparently asking for. I'm guessing that played a role but I think this should have been strictly about the demonstrations.

Mr Blackface protesting is not illegal…but if you really feel that way, use your prime minister powers and request the Supreme Court make a ruling…what are you afraid?  This is within your powers.  Canada is a democracy and part of that democracy is protesting…but I’ll wait for the supreme courts decision…and will respect their decision… will you and butterball?

It’s become the standard…at least they are not setting things on fire, right?
Just curious, though, where are all of the counter-protesters?
Everything looks peaceful in the livestreams I’ve seen, no one beating up anyone or breaking shit.

there's a counter protest scheduled this weekend at my legislature as a matter of fact.

correct, no violence that I've seen either. but it doesn't have to be violent to be destructive. they are hurting local residents, businesses, and supply chains.

Oh okay, I was wondering when this would start happening.  I was a bit surprised to see no one out there counter protesting yet with so many Ottowans (?) angry about the situation.

I can't speak on behalf of everyone but I'm hoping those who are vehemently opposed to what this 'freedom convoy' is doing understands that a counter-protest would do more harm than good.

Hope not.  Wasn’t the word that they would start trying to make them leave today?  Those truckers seem pretty adamant about staying, so trying to force them out would most likely not end well.  The weekend warriors are probably about to start showing up too…

They will on the weekends, cause they are busy working and going about their lives. Nobody ever thought they would have to counter protest something so stupid.
