What is a Holy Grail?

A: It all started a few years ago when a bunch of people on the old forum chipped in and bought Demetrios a 1991 PJ/RHCP show poster as a Christmas present – basically a way of saying thank you to everything he does for everyone on the forum. Following D, others including myself, arq, ZiggyStar, mfc2006, dimitrispearljam, elwayvedder, Tuolumne Mama (and Little Dirty Tom), Black Diamond (and sons), Chime, Leeze, PJ-Cubs, nothingman203, SuzieMay, LarsK13, barger395, Hoosiers, JimmyV, PJ_Soul, Danalphabet, jjflash, HesCalledDyer, and most recently DerbyDave have all been graciously awarded their holy grails.

This time we would like to keep the recipient secret for numerous reasons, but rest assured it is someone valuable to this community and it's for the greatest reason of all, family. Once the event is completed, we will announce who the recipient is.

A bunch of us have decided to create a huge raffle to raise money. This Holy Grail is different and will require a very generous support since we are hoping to raise around $2000.

Cost: Each entry is $5, so basically $5=1 raffle ticket, $50=10 raffle tickets etc. You can also decide to donate without entering the raffle.

How to purchase raffle tickets: Simply PM me if you are interested in making a donation toward this grail and to purchase raffle tickets.

Deadline: The deadline to purchase raffle tickets is Wednesday, 11/11/15 (You can win more than once; no limit!)

The raffle will take place the following weekend.

UPDATE: Each person will be able to pick what they want as their name is drawn. So, if you are the first name picked, you will get to choose any item you would like off the list.

You should've known better than to get the bars. But maybe they don't mean nothing. Now that you have them, though, you should hold on to the nights that you have with us. If you should get banned, know that we'll do our best to track you down, and we won't give up until we're satisfied.
