The Toronto dates might actually be in Hamilton. Or the Rogers Centre or the Sony Centre.

The dates don't have to be the ACC do they?

ACC is the perfect size, however.

Hamilton would be okay but it's a bit smaller this making it tougher to get tickets. I'm not too sure they'd fill the Rogers Centre (although at least more of us would be guaranteed tickets) while the Sony Centre is way too small (and no GA).

    the Rogers Centre
They can configure that place for 25k. Put the stage outside of 2nd base.

Too early for the Amphitheater. Sony has 5k I think. The Hammer can do 16k. Who knows, maybe 2 venues over the 2 nights.

    All speculation of course.

    Hamilton is not Toronto.

They would never play the Sony Centre.

May doesn't work for the Ampitheatre, so that leaves the ACC.

Please not the skydome. If they do whatever you do don't sit in the 500 lvl

Ricoh holds (just a guess) 6-8k. Too small

If they are playing in Toronto in early May, it will 100% be at the ACC. The First Ontario Centre (Copps Coliseum) in Hamilton can hold hold up to 19,000 (closer to 18,000 for GA concerts). Pearl Jam has sold out both of their shows in Hamilton in 2005 and 2011. BUT, if PJ is playing in Toronto at the end of their Leg, it makes no sense to move their second show to Hamilton UNLESS the Raptors are still in the playoffs (the Leafs suck and won't be in the playoffs).

I wouldnt worry about that. I'd say theres a zero percent chance of them playing the skydome. At this point its almost exclusively mega acts playing shows there. They used to do a smaller stage setup to put on medium sized shows, but they havent done that in ages.

Calling for a fact check on that statement. Copps was not sold out in 2011. There were blanked off sections all the way in the back in the upper level. That happens when you make a weekday show outside the T.O city core.

It will be the ACC. Anyone holding their breath for anything else is dreaming... too early for the Amp, not enough draw for the skydome (cough cough, rogers center ;))... well maybe enough draw, but I just don't see it as a possibility and would just straight up pick the ACC as a better venue. It's $17 beers of shitty molson products either way...

This and now reports of the guys catching flights out of Atlanta to head to south America. Why Atlanta? What are they doing there? We all know they have done a lot of recording in Atlanta over the years with Brendan o' brien. They mixed backspacer there. Could they be mixing another record there???

Or it could be that Atlanta is a major hub for international travel, especially when going to S.A.
Perhaps they have some sort of contract with Delta. Delta has private jet service they could use for their typical jaunts around the country and get special rates when flying on regular Delta flights. If I were flying Seattle to SA, I would prefer Delta as the SEA-ATL leg can be had on one of their 767's with a fully flat bed seat. It would be worth the extra hour or two in the air to be able to comfortably sleep the whole flight.

I don't think we're getting an announcement until December 2. Someone a few pages ago seemed pretty certain of a December 11 general sale and it would make sense to wait until after the SA tour and take advantage of that hype.
