    my wrigley/ticketmaster story:
I waited for 2 hours to get to the ticket page on ticketmaster and it said when it was my turn that it was sold out. Checked stubhub after and tickets were at $250. I was 13 and i didn't and still don't have that kinda money to go to a show.
Listen to some of my music here (if you want to): [url="My soundcloud"]
  • It's possible to do Wrigley as the Cubs will be in New York that weekend playing the Mets.

Personally, I would love to see PJ at the Gorge. I have yet to attend a concert at that venue. It's at the top of my bucket list for concert venues (after just seeing Wilco at Red Rocks last summer).

Also, it was rumored that they would performing sometime in Denver in 2016. While Red Rocks would be amazing, it might be too small for them (unless they did multiple nights like 3 or 4). They could play the Dick's Sporting Good Park. Phish plays there every summer and they could handle the crowd.

    I'm with YOU...
PJ at The Gorge is a bucket list show for sure!!
I've seen Dave Matthews Band at The Gorge twice...
AND I just saw My Morning Jacket at Red Rocks in August!!
I also tend to agree that Red Rocks is way too small for PJ to play...
and even if they did 3 or 4 nights,
you'd have the same people trying to do all 4 shows.
Tickets for a PJ show at Red Rocks would be some of the hardest ones to score!!

They played red rocks in 1995 when they were the biggest band on the planet. If they play other venues like the Gorge and Fenway and Wrigely and 20 some other shows then I don't think red rocks would be as difficult as you might think.
Edit: Although if they announce everything at once and red rocks is on the list then red rocks would be my top priority and I live in Wisconsin. So I guess if there are a lot of people out there with my same thought process then maybe I'm wrong!

Pj20 was at alpine and night two was far from a sell out. Pretty sure alpine and wrigley are pretty close in terms of capacity.

They didn't have the number of fans that will travel from all over the world to see them back in '95 though!!
    AND I guarantee you...
IF they do announce shows at Red Rocks,
    THIS will be the case!!
My Morning Jacket doesn't even come close to the demand for tickets that a Pearl Jam show would have...
and their shows at Red Rocks sell out in minutes!!
IF PJ sells out a 42,000 seat baseball stadium in minutes,
I can't even imagine how hard it would be to get a ticket to a 9400 seat venue!!

Red Rocks + Pearl Jam = ticket lottery meltdown

unless it was part of a very large announcement with lots of shows and multiple "destination" events... never say never I guess

How would you rank your ticket lottery if they dropped the dream motherload all at once... which is theoretically possible but highly unlikely

50+ North American shows in most major markets, which would probably mean there is a local show for most of us, some in smaller arenas, plus multiple "destination" events such as...

    Fenway
    Wrigley
    Madison Square Garden 1
    Madison Square Garden 2
    Soldier Field PJ25 1
    Soldier Field PJ25 2
    Red Rocks 1
    Red Rocks 2
    Red Rocks 3
    Red Rocks 4
    Gorge 1
    Gorge 2

I'm going Red Rocks with my #1 and I live 2,000 miles away lol

This would be so great if for no other reason it would make getting tickets to MSG somewhat reasonable as many travelers would be putting Red Rocks and Gorge as their number one in the lottery.

AND unless you have these venues as your #1 choice...
you won't get tickets to these shows,
and MANY that pick these as #1 won't get tickets anyway!!
You might get seats to the football & baseball stadium shows as #2 choice...MAYBE!

Red Rocks is NOT a ticketmaster venue.
So it is possible, depending on contracts, for 100% of tickets to go to fanclub.

It's on alternative nation so it must be true :) (sarcasm since they guy gets his info from this board). Downtown Chicago is not as crowded on the 4th as it used to be since they no longer do fireworks at Grant Park and Taste of Chicago has been scaled down. Hopefully this means more rooms available in the loop. Wrigley would have been great but there are not hotels near by.

This is why drugs and stadium shows go hand in hand.
I was behind the stage for these shows and it was fucking awesome! FTW was different though, can't compare.

That said, I would want GA or decent seats for PJ25 at Soldier Field.
I also wonder if they could sell out SF, especially if there are other big shows planned too.

Lastly, announce the entire tour at once, please. (Even though I know this won't be the case)

Im not sure how I feel about a show in a football stadium.

I went to N3 of Fare Thee Well at Soldier last summer. It was great. This would have to be a destination show to sell out though. PJ25?
