USPS lost my Transformer and Pendleton Posters...have NYC items to trade

So I camped out super early to get in line at the Volcom pop up last week and got the two posters I wanted (Ames & Pendleton) along with a shirt (blue mets logo size large), both hats, and the pin. I was flying on an international trip for work from NYC so I thought it would be easier to ship my posters home rather than bringing them with and risk damage. So long story short my priority mail has not been delivered and I'm currently working with USPS to see if they can find the package.

Wanted to see if anyone grabbed an extra Transformer or Skyline poster and would be interested in trading for the hats/shirt that I picked up.

    USPS has been sucking big time lately. Give it time. Maybe even 3-4 weeks. I know many examples lately where things have been delayed but they magically show up after a few weeks. Good luck!

    Yea, that's what one of the USPS people told me - that sometime the tracking info doesn't update and the package just shows up. But, it was supposed to be a 2 day delivery and we are getting close to a week, so of course I'm worried given the contents. Lesson learned, for shipping posters in the future use a company with guaranteed delivery times like FedEx.

    Give it time man. That shit has happened to me with usps numerous times.

    I will say that despite all the angst USPS gives me, things inadvertantly show up. Also, with all the pope activity that week, I think there were just general delays on stuff.

    I've also had tracking not update and the package shows up.

    I think you're very likely to get your package eventually. Even with USPS, it's really rare for packages to disappear altogether.

    Thanks for the words of advice. I'll step away from the ledge for the time being. Just have some anxiety given the situation.

    The USPS tracking system is a joke. I sent some important documents by priority mail & the tracking didn't update 4 days after I shipped it. It was only going upstate do it should've been delivered already. The guy at the post office says to me "I understand your concern, but tracking can take up to 2 weeks to update."

    Seriously.

    The day after that the tracking updated and said it was delivered.

    Ok it was finally delivered. The two day shipping only took a week. All is well.

    yeah - I had a package that arrived today that said it had just had its information received - it was shipped across the country. :confounded:
