    For anyone not to say something negative about this latest publication is kind of going against the grain wouldn't you say? This latest cartoon is not about religion which is open season for mocking it's now crossed over into turning a parents dead child into comedy in some minds. Disturbing at the intent of the cartoon. Even more disturbing are the people with neutral opinions on this.
    I don't feel like it's meant to be funny.
    Of course it's not meant to be funny. In some peoples minds this is dark humour.
    Why does people criticizing this piss you off so much?

    Because it's making a good point, and I find emotional, knee-jerk reactions because of non-PC-ness or a lack of "appropriateness" in the face of art VERY annoying, and because I assume criticizing it generally equates to thinking it shouldn't exist, which to me amounts to the suggestion of censorship.

    It's not knee-jerk reactions because the opinions about this issue will still be the same forever.

    I already said this to you, but yeah, that's jerky. What else can I say? I consider it all a free for all. I don't agree that Jews should get some kind of special exemption over other religious groups in any scenario. If the magazine has a bias like that, or if Charlie Hebdo personally had a bias like that, then that's lame, though it doesn't affect my feelings about the cartoons that they do publish. But whenever anyone who publishes anything has a bias, it's good information to keep in mind.
