If anything... he gave your country a figurehead that can count past his finger total, know how to hold a book right side up, and not stammer like a drunken fool that's been sniffing glue.

all that ? I rest my case, the man has blundered horribly.

Obama is fueling the fire but West, Carson and Cain are doing their race just fine and there's no issue with Paul supporting Cliven Bundy.

What did I tell you about visiting the set of Breaking Bad, GF?

How is Obama fueling the fire?
He's not fueling the fire. If anything, he has simply managed to help EXPOSE the real problem, simply by being a black president and by not trying to pretend there is no problem, which is a good thing. Siginificant social change always comes with upheaval. GF, sounds like you just want to keep burying your head in the sand instead of seeing real change happen.
respectfully, what real change has he brought ?

    Godfather.

The change is currently underway. It's a very long process (150+ years and counting in terms of race equality). When you are watching the race riots and the trials and the anger of black people and the controversy about the Confederate flag, etc etc, on the news, you are watching the process of social change. This is not all created by Obama and I never suggested that. But Obama hasn't been afraid to speak publicly about the issues and expresses a real opinion about it rather than trying to pretend there isn't a problem, which other recent presidents have really not done, which is a part of the process of change.

You're not asking what change outside of this topic he's brought, are you? Because if you don't think Obama has presided over a lot of change you're in denial (as most Republicans seem to be). In terms of war, the economy, and healthcare he has brought a LOT of change (btw, I don't blindly love Obama (I'm not even American!). I have a particular problem with how he handled the whole NSA thing and the continued support of Israel. But I'm always happy to give credit where credit is due).

Agree it's a social change and it will be painful.

Obama just raised our issues. Great thing for country and minorities. He's done some good. Period.

Sitting next to African American woman in bus. Saw I was sweating and asked me if I wanted a cold soda she had. This is reality. This is why I have faith in the good. Most of the time.
