Mike/Stone Stage Used Guitar String Bracelets - for sale (fund-raiser for charity)

Thanks to a few very generous and supportive people out there, we are happy to bring this opportunity to PJ fans. Available in a limited supply are stage used guitar strings of Stone Gossard and Mike McCready made into wearable or displayable bracelets.

Stage used guitar strings from both Mike and Stone were taken after shows from the 2014 Lightning Bolt Tour and converted professionally into bracelets that you can display as a collectible or even wear. These bracelets come from a reliable source and you can rest easy that these are indeed the real deal.

NOTE/DISCLAIMER: Unfortunately, during the tour, these stage used guitar strings were mixed up. You will be definitely getting a real stage used guitar string bracelet of either Stone or Mike but unfortunately we cannot tell you which exactly of the 2 it will be.

2nd Note: It is possible in the near future we will have some Ed and Jeff guitar string bracelets available. We are working on that currently with hopes of having them available in limited supply. They will be slightly more expensive to purchase than the guitar string bracelets being offered here today. If you want to reserve a possible bracelet of Ed or Jeff, please PM me as well and I will work with you to reserve a Jeff or an Ed and work off-line with you in hopes of getting you your request (within the weeks and months to come). Possibly some more Mike and Stone too where you will know and be able to request exactly who's guitar string you will be getting. Again, these will be at a higher price than this sale.

Here is a photo giving you roughly the idea of what they will look like. Some may vary depending on how the professional jeweler finishes them.

Proceeds benefit Operation Yellow Ribbon of South Jersey, an all-volunteer US Troop support group and non-profit that sends huge care packages of loving reminders from home full of goodies and support.

Bracelets are $100 shipped anywhere in the world with payment made directly to Operation Yellow Ribbon's PayPal account. Items are limited and will be handled in a first come, first paid and served basis. Please PM me for payment details and with your interest.
I probably missed something pertinent so if there's any questions, PM me please.

Thank you
-EV

Are they set up so they don't oxidize?

I don't even know how to attempt to answer that not knowing what any of that means LOL. What do you mean "set up"? They are set up as pictured

I have worn mine few times. No problems yet, but didn't sweat in them or swim in the pool or the beach... I would treat them like you would fine jewelry.

So over time guitar strings oxidize due to sweat, hand junk, etc,. - changes colors. Does the person who makes these apply some kind of anti-oxidizer to prevent them from further deterioration? Metal can flake off and stuff. For some reason your pic wasn't showing up earlier and now it is. PS - these are fucking cool as hell.

That would be awesome! My cousin Tami is interested in buying one. She makes her own jewelry & asked me about it.

i expect anyone who buys these could antioxize them if not already?

I believe these are already finished in terms of the production, and therefore will be sold as they are.

I bought a Jeff one off someone else. It is cool as hell and highly recommend people get one.
In my humble opinion, this is one of the coolest PJ items you can own. And, it goes to a great cause...a win-win!

I will have to look up what I can do to treat it.

    Thanks Paul
Actually, we are going to shut down this thread and start a new one with a huge price cut so we can get these in the hands of fans and do some great things. Partial refunds to match to the price cut for those paid already as well
