    Thanks! Yes, it was from the pre-order contest. We both bought the album and he was one of the lucky winners. Excited for the show!

    Nice! Unfortunately I bought the album for me and my brother in a single order so we only get one chance and we're in a very concentrated market (Chicago) with not many midwest shows. Was lucky to meet him and Ben during a brief promo tour of acoustic sets in 2013.

    Thanks! Yeah, we put a little bit of strategy into it, both trying separately for what we thought would be the less in-demand of the two L.A. area shows (I'm also going to the Walt Disney Concert Hall show the night before). Looking forward to the meet & greet and hoping we get a couple minutes of his time. I was lucky enough to attend an acoustic set that he and Ben did, most likely on that same promo tour as you, and we basically just shook their hands, posed for a quick pic, and they basically just rushed everyone through 10 seconds at a time.

    Upon first listen, it's alright. I'll have to run through it another time to form a full opinion.

    I guess I was hoping to get that feeling I had after listening to Euphoria Mo(u)rning but that's probably unfair, because that record was a masterpiece and so full of emotion.

    You pretty much nailed how I felt after the first listen. Not bad by any stretch, just a little lacking in diversity. I wish he'd collaborated with Alain again to be honest.

    You and me both! But I get that he was probably trying to do something different rather than an extension of Euphoria Mourning.

    Regardless, can't wait to see him next month!
