That would be amazing. Release an album and have a nice US Tour for the PJ25. I think a down 2015 would be worth it if that all came to pass in 2016!mfc2006 said:for all we know, they may be working on one now. it would be great if they released a new album out of nowhere.

nah to soon would be rushed. rather wait for something they put some real thought to.0

Lol like the last couple records?? So were vs and Vitalogy and yield rushed? Not trying to be a dick but spending a lot of time on a record doesn't always translate to a better record.EB218946 said:nah to soon would be rushed. rather wait for something they put some real thought to.

I have had a sneaking suspicion that a quick turnaround suprise album is in the works...
That would help explain the total lack of b-sides the last decade0 -
i just wish they would release a single that they won't put on an album or something. Every few months.I miss igotid880

Well on a three year cycle, we would already be about halfway there. And we have not heard a peep. Would love it if they could crank one out quickly and go against the 3 year trend. Outlook not looking good though.0

Lightning Bolt will be 2 later this summer. I wish they wouldn't continue the 4-5 year thing.www.cluthelee.com0

I miss those days of a new album every year. But once bands or singers are around this long it's usually like this. With a few exceptions of course. But it's not like don't do anything in betweenI miss igotid880

someone reported asking ED recently at the who thing at the VIP area if there was a new album likely soon. They reported back that there was a very simple reply given 'nope'.0

not surprising, but still.... sighpdalowsky said:someone reported asking ED recently at the who thing at the VIP area if there was a new album likely soon. They reported back that there was a very simple reply given 'nope'.
I just wish they would all get together for a couple weeks and bang one out instead of sending all these demos around and hoping that Ed will decide to sing over one. (not saying Ed is the hold up)
Wouldn't it be funny if the world ended in 2010, with lots of fire?0 -
I think we'll see a "Lost Dogs II" before a "new" albumRemember the Thomas Nine !! (10/02/2018)

no, but they practically lived together back then. I don't think they've spent more time working, just longer gaps in between working times.primussucks said:

it's easier writing on a 15 hour tour busride than it is on a 90 minute red eye flight.

I think the gaps in between albums is just going to get longer and longer. that's generally the trend as bands get older. and one that this one has been following the past 10 years.By The Time They Figure Out What Went Wrong, We'll Be Sitting On A Beach, Earning Twenty Percent.0
