The song you always get denied

Anyone out there also cursed in waiting for that one song they really want to hear, only to get denied tour after tour?

I have been waiting patiently for Hard To Imagine for 12 years now and have been denied time after time.....

missed it by a night in 94 when they played it at the New Regal show, but not Chicago Stadium.

totally let down by missing it by a show again this year from Chicago 1/2 then being played at grand freaking rapids! I have not marked out and done the hat, painted my face, made signs, used a beach ball etc, will fate ever shine on my ears?

Who else feels the pain???

    Release and Long Road.

    which is odd, because up through the end of the 2000 tour, both these songs were played with stunning regularity. and I missed them.

    Dissident haven't heard it since 2000 ''ice bowl'' alpine valley.

    Heres hope they play it at pitts, cinny or any of the summerfest shows.

    it was footsteps until a few days ago : )

    finally got it & it was surreal, got H2I, got breath, crown of thorns, indifference, cant think of any standouts i havent gotten that they actually play Who You Are & No Way are the 2 taht they havent played ina while & I havent seen Smile since 2000 so thats my #1 not, been a whille.

    Used to be I Got Id. It took 20 shows to hear that one. I Got Id and Lowlight are my favorite two songs, and finally I got them both in show number 20. The only two realistic songs I haven't heard now are Rival and Help Help.

    Amazingly enough, Immortality. My second favorite Pearl Jam song, and I am 0 for 10.
    It makes much more sense to live in the present tense.

    i can honestly say that i've heard every song i've wanted to. however, i really wish they'd bring back "spin the black circle". my boyfriend went to his 1st pj concert with me to grand rapids and that's his favorite pj song. they opened with my favorite song (elderly woman) and he didn't get his. he was disappointed. i was too, for him.

    Deep, that is an old one I would love to hear. I am never disappointed in their set cause I enjoy every bit of it. Yet, there are songs I would love to hear them play every now and then. Deep is one of them...

    As for rarities, I would love to hear Grimmie Outta Control or Sweet Lew. Those would be fun live.

    I guess mine would be 'Satan's Bed'. I heard it at Penn State, But I'm not sure if you can even count that version.

    It's so weird, I've been to 8 shows and have seen Release and Present Tense both 3 times, some songs that people never hear. And I got Lowlight in Chicago, which I've been waiting a long time for.

    But...
    I have now missed crown of Thorns and Hard to Imagine both by one night, (was at Chicago I and Cleveland). And I have missed Breath TWICE!! by one night each time. It was even on the encore setlist in KC in 2003 and they didn't play it, instead electing for Glorified G :(

    They did play Spin The Black Circle at Boston I. It was pretty rockin'.


    Been to 9 shows now and I have yet to hear Wash, Footsteps, Low Light, Inddifference, and believe it or not, SOLAT. I freakin LOVE SOLAT and have never gotten to see it performed live.
