I'm Australian so we had a little struggle with understanding each other LOL and the phone line wasn't the greatest but it took about 10mins. I have their email address if i don't have the tickets in my email by tomorrow.

yes to passport # they didn't ask me for a visa number

Why couldn't the 10c have arranged a lottery like for Europe? I'm sure they tried all that they could though. Frustrating that I've got another $100 in phone charges at a minimum to go after about $250 today unless Verizon cuts me some slack. I'll call them tonight and see if I can add a plan to save money. I was fine paying $100 in phone charges to get tickets (cost of doing business) but this was ridiculous.

I called Verizon yesterday and signed up for international calling temporarily. Only cost $5 and then they only charge $0.15/min. They were pretty cool about it...good luck. Even with $0.15/min I'm over $50 now.
Nope, I just got sent to an automated system and then hung up on. Called back and got a message that they are closed. Damn it! I just wasted 6 hours of my life on hold.
I was on hold for 5 hours and nothing....put you on hod and then just dead.. dropped calls after 2hours and then again,,,so painful. feels like the ice-age.
I have little hope on the pre-sale, guess I will try general sale. For those VERY LUCKY ones who manage to get tickets via phone, how does the pick up work in Brazil for us internationals?
T4F disrespect us all every time... It's is ridiculous and outrageous! It's always like that with us Brazilians so I can imagine how frustrated you should be... Here we have only a couple of show producers and they do what they want because we don't have any choice if we want to see a band we like!
Some info: they have about 4 people answering the phone and they are totally non-professional and disqualified (an international hot line in Portuguese speaking? come on? non-sense). The site crashes all the time and don't expect something different if you will give a try on may 25th. They just don't give a fuck.

Well after about 3 total hours on the phone (multiple calls, holding, getting dropped, dialing back, etc.) It would certainly be a nice gesture of the 10C to take copies of our bills and trade it out in merchandise. I know the problem seems to lie with T4F, but part of what we pay 10C for is access to tix...in this case, I have no tix and nothing but a giant phone bill. I will probably try again as I REALLY wanted the Rio experience but those of us who tried literally all day are definitely left holding the bag (or the phone bill) after this disappointing membership experience.

It's a miracle: at about midnight t4f charged my credit card with 1.700 BRL and I received an email which confirmed my 4 tickets
So thank you Rebeca from t4f for keeping in touch with me after we talked on the phone and for securing my tickets (hopefully the will call will be as good as last time in South America)
I am so f_____' looking forward to come back so SA and see the best band of the universe again
(although the tickets (including 10C reduction) are much more expensive than even the ones in Oslo were and although I had to wait during an overseas phone call to Brazil for almost two hours and hand over my credit card details to a complete stranger without any security)

For those VERY LUCKY ones who manage to get tickets via phone, how does the pick up work in Brazil for us internationals?
Some info: they have about 4 people answering the phone and they are totally non-professional and disqualified (an international hot line in Portuguese speaking? come on? non-sense). The site crashes all the time and don't expect something different if you will give a try on may 25th. They just don't give a fuck.
